If there was ever a perfect Nardwuar interview, this is it. Whitney has an entire character arc from hating Nardwuar for interviewing everyone but her, to learning from Chris Hardwick that he's been doing this shit for more than a decade, to falling in love with him. It's a better romcom than anything you'll find in modern cinema, and it's all under 20 minutes.

Casually rattles off a Russian phrase that he said to a legendary Russian leader, then immediately brushed it off to return to a question about a drunk call. Hardwick then casually mentions that Nard used to hang with Kurt and Courtney. THAT my friends, is a fucking power move and why Nard is such a legend.

"You googled deep. You googled hard." She thinks Nard is a typical journalist and has no idea her mind is about to be blown in the next couple minutes.

Getting an interview with Nardwaur is perhaps one of the pinnacles of human achievement.

A nardwaur video is basically a crash course on how to win friends and influence people. Rather than ask for favors in return for pretty much nothing like every other interviewer and ask the same questions, he gives people things that they care about and talks to people about things they care about. And that's why he's so successful.

My favorite part is whitney's face at around 10:10 when Chris says he has been watching for a decade and a half and she she seems to instantly realize she is in the presence of a legend. Then he says nard is a legend and has some more surprised faces.

I like her so much more after this interview. She seems bothered in the beginning and then really seems to sparkle as the interview goes on. She usually shouts on stage and in interviews and projects her voice so loud, but her more subdued, daily speaking voice, combined with that smile and glowing skin, made her more attractive than she already is. Her wit also came so easily during this interview. She seemed much more charismatic than I've seen before.

Probably my favorite interview of all time. You can see how Nard deconstructs everything Whitney knows about interviews and gets her to enjoy herself. Amazing talent.

He really toned it down for this interview I feel like. Maybe hannibal really prepped him or something, but I appreciated the laid back approach he took to slowly warm her up. When he goes against someone he knows is against the interview no matter what it's full persona, but he clearly enjoyed winning her over and did so with care.

I’d be afraid to get interviewed by nardwuar and he brings up something I locked away deep inside my psych, something from my abusive childhood, and I get triggered and explode on camera.

I find it so funny how Nardwuar rarely responds to people's questions about anything, especially the stuff about how he gets his information. A normal person when receiving one would probably feel the need to answer the question, especially since they are celebrities and it's considered a 'privilege' to even talk to them.
