It was a tree-t of a campaign, If anybody has any questions about the build or the rest of the campaign (there was a LOT i didn't cover on this when I wrote it up way back), I'll answer what I can. BTW Kudos for the attempt on the name lads, it's a rough one. It has a welsh double L so it sounds like the CH in Achmed at the beginning, and the umlaut on the O makes it more of an OU. CH-OU-M, sounds kinda like Whom as in "To Whom" . If it sounds and feels like you're scraping bark together in your throat, you got it right!

As a dragon myself I can assure you, I don't think messing with a treant is a good idea. They don't mind if your prune their branches however, because it makes them stronger. Free wood is always good.

If only they DIDN'T give him the extra armor, because then he'd be a dudliss fur. But honestly, I'm glad he was able to set his roots down and plant himself somewhere; of course, I feel bad for the villagers, as even though he's an apple tree, he's probably driving them nuts with all those puns. I hope it doesn't mean he doesn't get any services there, because it'd be terrible if he couldn't get a good pruning at the barbers; and I ESPECIALLY hope he doesn't anger any axe wielding barbarians with them, or else his pun making days may be cut short. I think I've gone on long enough... (Darts for the exit)

I really enjoyed the tree puns sprinkled into the video. I will say that I am curious to try out playing a Wood Woad Homebrew Race. They are basically wooden creatures created by a Druidic Ritual. Would fit even greater if I'd be able to play them as a companion to a Druid within a party. Tree puns wouldn't be expected as much for such a character though.

I played a medusa in AD&D (we found a way to tone it down to where it wouldn't insta-win), and thanks to Variant Human I've come up with a few interesting characters in recent games. Like a hag gypsy and a half-nymph cleric.

One of my players (the Druid) got a magical sapling from some Sylphies (for managing to forge an alliance between their Grove and his Druidic Order), which they (I) just told him to care for until the "next full moon". It'll eventually grow into a Treant, so I really hope he manages to keep the sapling safe from his party members (who have a tendency to blow things up or set things on fire)

I have a tree backup in case my artificer carpenter dies. He's been trying to grow a world tree and it finally started sprouting last session. In another campaign I'm currently playing a Sheep Blood Hunter that turns into a werewolf, a literal wolf in sheep's clothing.

I one time got permission from a DM to play a pixie since it was an option in previous editions, and it was amazing as I could move through the space of pretty much any creature had access to flight, and was tiny sized meaning I weighted like a pound. I ended up playing as a rogue using a tiny little bow and rapier that did 1+dex mod in damage which wasn't much of an issue since I always got my sneak attack due to being able to fly through an enemies legs and stab them in the crotch. Heck one time I climbed into the crotch of a sea hag that was giving the party trouble, and started stabbing the crap out of her insides ending up tearing through her uterus and eventually getting to her heart. Incase your wondering I had water breathing active while inside the hag, and yes I tore my way out of the hags torso chest burster style it was glorious.

Using it as and NPC, seriously the rp ideas from astoshan player, never ceases to amaze me. That's one thing I miss from 3.5, if you take away all the mushkiness it allows, the characters concepts to explore are endlesd

Don't want to uproot anybody's good thyme. I'm just not sure I have the stock for all trees puns. Wood be better if they weren't all ingrained sow obviously. Made the character kinda sappy. Maybe if you branched out to other plant life. Anyways, I'm bushed, think I'll hit the hay. This was just for the puns, I enjoyed the video.

I mean he did say the treant or whatever pinned the dragon to the floor so i guess he went diagonal so he fit also now that i think about it, the thumbnail makes no sense, he was as tall as the dragon and was up to the top of the roof but in the thumbnail hes 4x the size of the dragon but the still at the top of the roof like the spell that made him bigger shouldn’t shrink the dragon

I played a CE half-ogre. 8'6", 18/00 STR 3 INT and -1 Charisma. He took after his dad (an Ogre) but very, very stupid. Was limited to 5th level at the time (early 80s)

I had a dm who allowed a homebrew half red dragon, half dragonborn character. He wasnt evil but due to being abandoned after birth he was unsocalized, feral, and motivated by food. When he joined the party he would slay anything in their path if promised food. Dm allowed us each a bag of holding. We came across a cursed village of satyrs. They were cursed with undying. If slain they would regenerate on the spot after a few moments or if the body was destroyed regen at the village. My character snagged one, kept it in his bag, and would pull the satyr out to eat him, giving my character and the party unlimited food.

in 3.5 i had an elemental master (fire) wizard treant and when u get 10 lvls of that prestige class you become an elemental of the type you chose. so my epic lvl treant pc was a fire elemental treant. kekekek
