The Raymond Reach truck has an ergonomic floor to break up pressure points for operators who stand on the truck for extended periods of time. It also has a four point base, as opposed to a three point, and includes an exclusive steered idler to prevent shift shock in the caster when cornering. The exclusive A frame suspension further absorbs impacts. If you really want to smooth things out use Smoothy wheels and tires through your Raymond Dealer.

This is a good forklift safety video and it touched on many excellent points. The only mistake was the four leg stabiity platform. The stability platform of a reach truck is similar to a SDCB but not the same. The construction of the reach truck is unique but nevertheless has a 3 point base to the stability pyramid.

The best thing about this video is the ASDA music in the background

I drive one of these things every day. Although this video is somewhat true, I believe that the required training for narrow aisle forklifts is much too broad. After seeing people come and go, I really believe they should imply a ``hands on``section. As a prerequisite to licensing.

where I work forklifts have the right of way, because forklifts have such big blindspots a lot of times you don't see people walking.

@waynevietnam true, my reachtruck also has a 3 point base. I drive a jungheinrich ETV 214.

These things suck, standing on them for 12 hour shifts is a pain in the ass for me feet. First 6 hours I'm fine and after that it's a bitch and a half
