You'd be surprised. Naruto's entire hero complex stems from his desire to be accepted (or acknowledged at the least). Subconsciously, that's why he latched onto Sakura early on and his love of pranks. Someone sufficiently starved for attention would seek it in any form, even if it's negative. After all, you can't ignore something if you're actively scolding it. A Naruto with parents would have someone to acknowledge him. Now add the fact that the nine tails didn't attack and boom. No reason to hate Naruto, and he doesn't have Kurama sealed within. Include that now he's known as the Fourth's son, and you have a recipe for a completly OOC Naruto. Furthermore, Sasuke is no longer BroodyMcDreamPants to all the girls at the academy, so Naruto has a pretty good chance at having fangirls. Finally, Hinata started to develop feelings for Naruto when he saved her from those bullies as children. Pretty sure he was in those woods because what else is there for an orphaned village piraya to do? With so much that changed, now there's a multitude of reasons as to why either Hinata, the bullies, or Naruto won't be there for that important encounter. Its not to say Naruto and Hinata cant happen. But the chances are in constant flux simply because we dont know the paramaters of this world without Madara.
