Thanks for you help, did this in 4 tries after spending around 30 tries without the tips. This is by far the hardest trophy in game lol.

@@AvielNova Yeah I figured it out right after I commented here lol. For anyone reading this, It's not bugged, you just need to hit the right spot to get 42. Aim above the scrolls as high as you can go without leaving the circle.

Of all trophies, this is the one that made me quit the game for so long. Thats saying something but i was able to bare with the jump rope trophy in FF9. Also I still dont have but i say when I do

I’m playing this game now and trying to get this trophy. I’ve cleared the ENTIRE row of rings here more than once now, and every time I’m only getting 39. It seems impossible to get 42, like the games missing 3 rings?????

This is more for whoever else is getting this issue: Red rings are worth 3 rings, yellow are worth 1. So in this instance there are actually 14 red rings you need to get with one Naruto Cannon. So in this case, getting 39/42 would mean 1 red ring is being missed.

Jiraiya's Special Training mission after completing the Sasuke Retrieval Arc (I think), finish Naruto Tailor Made mission and Legend of Long ago and the mission will be available.
