2:13 The way Naruto's scream fades out into the background here is epic. Man OG Naruto really had some of the greatest moments in anime history.

This is imo by far the best visuals of the nine tails mode in the series. Not only the animation and the drawing quality is amazing, but also the art direction is so great. Very dark and mature. Especially these black and white shots with the fast moving lines along with the animalistic rage in Naruto's face create this feeling of fierceness that i've never seen in Naruto since.

This episode. Right here. How little of Naruto's personality was showing while he was just basically savagely hunting Haku like a wild animal made me think, "Maybe the village wasn't entirely wrong for being scared of him, after all. Sure, they shouldn't have shunned him like they did, but maybe their fears of him were at least a _little_ bit warranted..."
