No one talks about how useful Kagura is always. She's never a drag, even if she's taken as a "hostage". Such a well written character but if she was useless like some certain other shounen heroines, she would be the topic of many conversations.

Denys Strazhnik i think that gintoki is less powerful than Kamui because Kamui has much more power and defensive ability than ordinary samurai. Yeah, Gin is strong too, but Yato blood is the difference in power. Kamui was fighting Kagura, Shinpachi, Umibozu for some minutes, Gintoki, but actually continued fighting.

Kagura is already one of my favorite characters but this arc just doubles my love for her. Kagura had every reason to give up: her mother died. Her father barely returned and eventually never returned. Even her big brother who always protected her had enough and left. She's too young, too weak to save any of them, and no one would blame her for running away... except she didn't. She stayed with their dying mother, stopped her brother and father from killing each other, waited by herself all those years for them to return. Even when she moved to Earth and found a new family (Yorozuya) she still sent letters. All those years and she still held onto her dysfunctional family, trying to reconcile them. All the trauma that passed and she never gave up hope for family happiness. Kagura might not be as physically strong as her father and big brother, but she's the most strong willed of them all.

@@daniilvolosin1816 ye it does after like 200 episodes of world building and comedy. You should search for a good guide how to watch it and what you can skip, because the humor can become a but boring sometimes. The first episodes aren't that good tbh, i think most guides will even tell you to skip the first 2, cuz they're trash and not cannon. But just the last seasons which are almost just plot are 300% worth it, because they're just so goddamn good. I even sropped several months myself after like episode 120, but then i got my hands on s good guide and the remaining was a pleasure

I see everyone talking about Kamui and Gintoki's power and I think they are really strong but nobody talks about Kagura, she's really underappreciated and underrated. Like when Abuto fought the real Yato inside Kagura he said that she was capable to overcome the Night King Housen and be as strong as her brother and father. The real thing is that Kagura never uses her full power, she always holds back her real strength because she will became such a monster like Kamui. We saw Kamui's real power, we saw Gintoki's amazing strength a lot of times in the past but I think we haven't seen yet how strong Kagura really can be (maybe only once), I'm so curious because if she was capable to overcome Housen (who Gintoki had problems with) that means that she isn't weaker than him, she's really a monster.

Something I think is a intresting debate is how she would had faired against Housen. I think people talk about Gintoki a lot at least because it's intresting since he's only a human but as incredible feats and feels believable since he's been fighting his whole life and was taught by the strongest person in the Gintama verse. So seeing how a human like him over comes Housen and other super human foes is more intresting to people in a way I guess.

Lol "Destroyed" yea right. Go check when Umibozu talked about this with Gintoki at the end of Yoshiwara in Flames Arc, both didnt want to kill kamui because of kaguras sake. Lol Umibozu can easily take on Kamui and Gintoki/Kagura solo are enough for Abuto.
