Narvel the Marvel - King of Rockabilly! Narvel had one of the best voices ever. I still cannot understand why he wasn't more popular back in the day, I loved everything he ever sang.

Narvel came up with Elvis, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and the other great Sun Records legends. Roy Orbison got Narvel a record deal with Sun when Sam Phillips was still running it. He's in his 80s and his voice still sounds as strong as ever. He's the last of those great Sun legends. I don't know how much longer we'll have him, but he's one heck of a singer. Thank you for posting his music!

He's always been one of my favorites. I saw him live a few times, even in his older years, still had that amazing voice and gave a great show.

I have heard his music, but not realizing just what an absolutely great singer he is! ! I was busy raising little ones back when all the good singers were out there back in the early 60's and 70's. I didn't have a lot of time to listen to the radio with four little ones ! I love his songs and how they are so up beat! I have been playing them over and over , what a voice! Nice day in Minnesota today!

@@JamesTJordan1 I am wondering if there would be a CD available anywhere for this album and his Reconsider Me album where he is sitting in a blue truck? Those two albums from 1975 are scratched and I can't play them. I love all the songs on both these albums and can't find some of the songs on other CDs. I recently bought a CD, but my favs are not on it. I still love it, though. He's awesome. I'm very sorry that I couldn't get to his concert on this past Saturday night. Any help would be appreciated.

So does Roy orbison, but Garys one of my favorite country singers most people never heard of and Narvel as well.
