You know Kanye produced and mixed the track right? And that he gave the beats to Nas less than 4 days before release? If Nas went from this album, to an incredible 6 album run with Hit-Boy that has produced some of the best Nas songs of his whole career you can come to a quick conclusion that Nas wasn’t to blame for the outcome of this track, it was Ye. But you ain’t ready to hear the truth because it doesn’t align with the views of your idol.
