This was Nas at his '98 prime. The original I Am was gonna be a double album like 2 pac All eyez on me and Biggie Life After Death. But with too much anticipation a d bootlegging of the album, Nas was forced to scrap that release and come out with the I Am we know now.

For the Nas day ones, yall know this song is like a remix. Remember he made a song to this beat already that was released in like '99. I think it was on that Nas 2000 mixtape that came out back then.
