Ya, but not every year weed have unbearable for longer. That is the difference. I am 53 years old, and the SUMMERS never maintain this level of heat and lasted as long as they do EVERY year now. Alsi the hot weather used to end in September, not begain to decrease in November. Even in hot climates the temperatures of 120 degrees did last more then a couple of days, the lower to less the 110 degrees. Befor 2015, we might have a hot weather for a week or two. But not constant Heat that burns plants!😢

I've lived in California my whole life. It was way hotter for longer in the past. We would have weeks of 100+ degrees. And the heat would last into October. I guess the "global warming" makes things cooler?

120°F ain't nothing compared to what India was going through in June. They had to deal with 131°F, and most citizens didn't even have A/C. I'm pretty sure the folks out there in Nevada can He-Man (or She-Ra if you're a woman) their way through this unusual hot dome.

That's because our magnetosphere has continued to decrease and we are reaching our solar maximum. The increased activity in the sun always creates hot temps and extreme weather through solar forcing. Funny how they never factor the sun in when looking at global warming.

They said man caused it. I wonder how they determined that? What research or tests did they perform concerning this particular heat incident. I would like to see their data.

From a 2017 CNBC article on their website. Funny how the "science" has changed: "EPA chief Scott Pruitt says carbon dioxide is not a primary contributor to global warming," Its when they still called it global warming. LOL

I saw an interview w a guy that has correlated all of the different climate models into one ultra future forecast & he said that the same 10 cities that saw the largest COVID era population influxes are the same exact cities that will be completely uninhabitable w/in the next 30 years. (Due to drought, sea level rise, drinking water resources drying up, unsustainable electricity grid demands (like in these high heat cities just the cost & energy demand of cooling one downtown high rise- (those modern office bldgs that are all glass & concrete especially those with unopenable windows) will be impossible to maintain. The trapped & amplified heat inside all of these poorly engineered bldgs will make them uninhabitable for many months each year 🤯 His book is titled 'The Heat will Kill you First'

@@auntijen3781 So the TV Host should have said: "Nevadans should plan to move out of Nevada due to the new Scorched Earth climate" rather than blame ex-Californians for a heat-causing population growth surge.

There is only one solution. Transitioning away from fossil fuels. It’s not complicated. The problem is oil billionaires have spent mountains of cash to create a fake controversy to convince people that burning 100 million barrels of oil a day would not fill the atmosphere with carbon. The tobacco companies did the exact same thing with creating a fake controversy that cigarettes don’t cause cancer. There is no real controversy, there never was.

Those who don’t believe the science will feel the heat…. Don’t worry it “might” cool down next year…not. It will be a new record every year and every consequential year after. It’s too late, we are already past fixing it, it’s gonna be extreme cooking (HEAT) and extreme freezing from now on.

This nonsense entirely ignores the actual record of temperatures going back to the early 1900's. Since the 1930's temperatures have fallen significantly.

This is obviously false. The earths temperature has warmed and is accelerating in its heat rise since just after the Industrial Revolution. What could it mean? Could there be a connection? Does putting radically more carbon into the air trap heat on the earth. This is a question that was solved in the late 1890’s, to no one’s surprise. Imagine being the useful idiot of an oil billionaire.
