Its an amazing Study Bible I Have The NKJ Thomas Nelson John Macarthur premium Goatskin Brown Iam glad I had bought it last year it cost more this Year . NASB is Very Good Translation

Good review. I can see your respect for the Bible in your review, how careful you are turning the pages. I don't know if it's a male/female thing, but it seems like most men who do reviews of Premium Bibles, the first thing they do is bend it into a bow. That always makes me cringe. Especially considering it's Premium! Loved watching this review because I got the NKJV, my best friend got the KJV, and I've wondered what the NASB version of the Signature series Premium MacArthur Study Bible looked like. I love the teal highlights too. They aren't as intense as the red. I do wish I could get one in red letter but that won't happen as long as John MacArthur has anything to say about it!

I need tips on where to begin using this bible. A Mcarthur Study Bible for Dummies would be nice lol. I am overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. Easy instructions would be appreciated!

It can be a little overwhelming because it is packed full of notes! Maybe choose a specific book to work through, like John or one of Paul's letters.

I really like a bunch of them, but I would say the Life Application Study Bible.

I wish this Bible came in a 10.5 comfort print instead of a 9.5 and 9 “comfort print”. My 63 year old eyes have trouble focusing on that small of a print. Then the large print has a massive 12 point which I’m sure adds weight to the Bible as well. Someone did not have their thinking cap on when deciding on font size. Also I love the red letter edition of a Bible. I think it shows reverence and respect to put the words of Christ in red. Christs words should stand out even though the entire Bible is God’s Word.

I recommend looking and maybe supplementing with lutein and zeaxanthin if you haven’t already. They make your eyesight sharper.

I'm not 100% sure on that. A lot of times the premier collection has slightly better quality paper, but I have handled the hardcover in the past, and I don't remember the paper being poor quality.

It does not come in large print. It is a very heavy Bible already with all of the notes, so that is probably why.

@@Recluse616 I like John MacArthur... but I am NOT a MacArthur Only kind of person.. I have a few of his study bibles... but I find his commentary set to be too expensive for my tastes.. as for being arrogant....?.. he may very well be that... but I cannot state he is totally at fault on how his name appears on his study bibles... for that I would blame Thomas Nelson... lets take a look at this publisher.. in the last few years Thomas Nelson.. has bought out several other smaller bible publishers.. in order to consolidate their material and publish under their OWN name.. And Thomas Nelson. has a hand in releasing Several different translations of Bible text... they do Not limit themselves to just one or even two.... this is so they can pocket more people's money.. if they cannot sell you and NASB.. they can sell you an NIV or KJV or NKJV and others.. Thomas Nelson knows that MacArthur's name sells bibles... hence I will submit .. his name is big on this bible not simply due to MacArthur's arrogance as you state.. but probably more so.. to Nelson''s money grabbing prowess.. I can tell you something that REALLY screams arrogance.. is that in the "Jimmy Swaggart Study Bible"... all the words of Swaggart in his commentary.. are in red... but the rest of the bible is in black print...
