Thank you, Kenny. What an outstanding interview with Natalie. So much information to fall into the "I didn't know" category. For my two cents worth, Natalie needs to write a book about her life's journey. What a powerful story.

Great interview with Natalie. I watched her as a racer, a bad ass H.S. Hockey player, and the daughter and Granddaughter of a snowmobile racing royalty. She may be pretty but she works very hard at being a racer, and her first start in ARCA, she started on the pole and she was not ready for it, and she was put in bad situations and pushed before she was mature enough to be a great racer, and she is now getting it. I wish her all the best, because she is the real deal, even though the results have not shown like they can be. Not a loser, but a future driver!

Kenny, great interview but you should've enlightened everyone about just how great of a driver Natalie is. I have interviewed Natalie on multiple occasions when she was racing in Wisconsin. You talked about racing against Natalie at Marshfield and said how great she is. She held off Johnny Sauter for a feature win at State Park Speedway in Wausau Wisconsin, Aside from the obvious answer being money and sponsorship, what is it really going to take to give Natalie or any woman the proper chance to drive the best equipment and give them a chance to actually contend for race wins???

But face it looks play huge part, especially for women in a man’s sport. Are you telling me people in marketing don’t care about looks? Is it easier to market Danica or a Natalie, or a Janet Guthrie Who was a very good racer and smart. But you Tell me.

Regarding sexuality. Think where it runs afoul, is when the sexuality thing, gets used as a tool, and exploited to the point of becoming the focus, rather then the ability to perform. I think the key is to maintain the focus on a degree of modesty and professionalism, that often are the result of sponsorships and side gigs. For social media today, there are already too many opportunities beyond the individuals control, in the form of photos, video, sound bites, etc, to be taken out of context and exploited, some times maliciously and / or for profit, that can alter the direction of a career, for better or worse, attractive females in high profile circumstances, being particularly vulnerable.

It just floors me how this topic keeps coming up about girls racing professionally and looks got em there, people thats what professional racing is ITS MARKETING, racecars are moving bill boards companies invest in a driver for a return on their investment look at 90% of spokespeople they are usually attractive if there not there very popular with people and resonate with a certain group of people or have built in credibility it all factors in to a companies decision. The problem is there has not been any women that can drive at a superior level they have been marginally competitive at best. I know oh look at Danica go ahead look at her cuz id much rather look at her than watch her race, she was just another PERSON male or female that can drive a car at high speeds but cant beat the ones that really can drive and race, I dont hear much chatter about Jade Avedisian being cute or good looking (maybe too young yet) but its because shes races on a NATIONAL TOUR and wins runs up front competes for championships and looks like any other competitive racer. and my opinion is you wont untill she gets there and shows shes for real or not.Sex sells period so if you have two drivers competeing for a sponsorship who are unproven their decision is gonna be based on who they think can sell the most product weather thats winning/ running up front or smiling and looking good or both and the first woman that can do both will be the one everyone wants. In a competitive environment ultimately your gonna have to actually perform at that level or they will move on to next one. Take Toni Brieidingers ,Hallie Deegans social media popularity away and see how long they last as pure drivers, you gonna go cup racing with one of them or say Chandler Smith ,Ty majeski, Christian Ekes theres too many males that have shown RACING talent to just put a girl in for looks when push comes to shove cup teams need performance! There are only a few Paul Menards, Brendan Gaughns of the world the rest are gonna have to perform! lol

Correction Kenny. Most of the guys are not male chauvinists nor intentionally wreck Hailie/woman drivers. Most drivers have been very helpful to Hailie. Correction again, most drivers are not going to work with someone who's non-competitive as Natalie. Nothing to do with being a female. Natalie admitted the car was much better than the way she drove it. Natalie's has proven many times she's a sexist. Kenny's a patronizer and occasionally gets facts wrong. Not a good podcaster.

As welll as all the stuff she has said on done on twitch. Its ok to be proud of your choices. @davids5006 I wasn't sure I just know how she would talk and act on twitch. I'll be honest. I think women in racing is awsome and think they deserve just as much respect as the men. most ppl only know her name and her face. Sadly she is someone that little girls luck up to and want to be like. That's my biggest issue with her. The stuff she puts in her body. They look to these social media creators and think swelling there for heads with botox and lips along with surgery until they end up looking like an alien is what they are supposed to emulate. That's the wrong message to be sending these kids. I'm sure not everyone will agree with me. That's fine. That's just my opinion
