Honestly this seems more like NASCAR Heat 4.5. Good improvements, but it's essentially the same game

I agree with you about the cars driving more realistic. One thing I really enjoy is the way the clutch responds when switching gears, you can actually ride the clutch and ease it into first gear. I was not able to do this in HEAT 4.Anybody else notice this? I’m playing this on Xbox one BTW.

They probably wanted to get the game out early so they'd have plenty of open space and time to develop the new game

One thing that I noticed is that the Name Plates on the back of some cars are wrong. In the XFinity Series, you have "Starr" on the back of Jeffrey Earnhardt's car and "Allgaier" on the back of Ryan Sieg's car

I got them all since 2016 but I got heat 1 through 4 on disc not digital but my heat 2 decided to corrupt itself for some reason and I can't play it anymore 😔

In custom championships every time I cross the finish line at Bristol it crashes.

I will never understand how u can make 5 games in a row and make it impossible every year to run the outside lane. When there’s a race that goes into overtime with only 2 laps to go and I restart on the outside lane and I already know I have no chance at winning the race.

I like the caution notification idea and I wish it could be a feature that is added later in the game.

7:04 those paint schemes youre going through ARE the challenge rewards, because those werent there before i played the challenges, and now that ive completed them the paint schemes are there. so its not the challenge drivers paint scheme you unlock but instead you get another drivers scheme.

One thing I can’t stand are the numbers being so dark for custom paint schemes. Hopefully that’ll get fixed

Talked to DIS this afternoon. The Daytona Road Course will be used for the Busch Clash starting in 2021. This August road course weekend for ARCA, Trucks, Xfinity and Cup is a one time thing.

I am having the issue where at the end of the truck season it crashes the game and the season cannot be reloaded. Was looking forward to seeing what kind of xfinity ride I was going to get. Really hoping for a patch soon I want to continue that career.

Seems impossible for me to hold a line without taking the whole track. Maybe the cars are too big or tracks too small but no way you're going 4 wide without crashing/bumping with the exception of Talladega and maybe auto club

Or when a caution comes out, the spotter will tell you what happend instead of the reason why the caution came out pops out on the screen

I bought it and thought it was rly good but the last nascar game I got was heat 2. If it’s ur first nascar game or ur first in a few years, I would recommend it. If u have heat 4 I would wait for heat 5 to patch before u buy it

We might need to wait to heat 7 or 8 to get a better one, once you switch a game engine, the devs have to get used to the engine, which means we may not get a good heat game until heat 7 or 8.

Im happy to hear its going to be on a different engine yes! Devs shouldn't waste their time with heat 5, i want to know how good they REALLY are with the new Nascar game. That will decide their fate!

What F1 and Gran Turismo games are you playing? Because they have licenses similar to iRacing.. if you’re clean and fast you get matched up with similar players and vice versa. 704 really needs to get in control of online racing. It’s a mess and it’s been a mess since game one.

I already got NASCAR Heat 5 yesterday! I’m just waiting for the game to be fixed and the Indy Road Course and Daytona Road Course (if they are), and the custom schedules to be fixed (example: Cup at Iowa, Xfinity at Sonoma, and Trucks at The Glen. Yeah, that custom schedule I wanna see in the game)

The reasons you gave about games not being finished before release is exactly why I don't buy hard copies of games anymore. I also very rarely preorder games. I don't even buy games until I watch reviews by game players. No I don't go by what IGN reviews.

I've bought the game, the gold edition specifically, for the first days after buying it, I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it. I saw Radman's video regarding supporting the devs and I honestly agree with that. They are a GOOD team, a small team that means well, I know I've said this before on his video on why you should buy it. But I had a bug on career in heat 4 where it wouldn't progress to the next race. I reported it, they told me they had a fix coming, and asked if I had any dlc. I hadn't any at the time so I told them not yet but I was looking to get the Season Pass. The Customer Service Rep told me that I didn't need to worry, they'd take care of it for me. They had made a fan for life, I promised them i'd buy their next game's gold edition. So I have. After Radman's first video and this one, I realized something, something that this video has only built upon. This next game, won't be the F1 2020 of NASCAR, I reckon the Nascar (Heat 8 if it's still called that then) will be the game we all look and hope for. I know it's a lot to ask to just hold on and support until then, stick by them, and I imagine they'll stick by us. F1 2010 is a hell of a lot different from 2020, Heat 5 will be a hell of a lot different from Heat 8. They need time to build this engine, so I reckon this game could get the Heat 3 treatment (I hope) where we get a 2021 Season Pass, gives them more chances to make money, new content, and gives them more time to make the next game as best it can. You don't have to buy it, but keep my words in mind, i'm not the smartest guy around, and I may be wrong in the future. But remember, giving Nascar back to EA would be stupid, look at FIFA, Madden, NHL, NBA... Just consider it, if you don't buy it, understandable, look forward to seeing you all on the track.

They should take notes on NASCAR 15 tbh. markings on the wall when you hit them, moving catch fences when you hit the wall, cockpit sounds and window net shaking, better night graphics, you name it.

A MyTeam mode in the next NASCAR game would be sick. Hire/fire drivers past and present, get different cars and change sponsors... I think that would be amazing.

I preorder nascar heat 5 and I would give it a 5-5.5 out of 10. It has potential but like you said it was released finish. Even Ea delayed the bf5 launch because they were not ready.I think they also delayed bf5 launch because it was schedule to come out between Cod and rdr2

with heat i just do single player, and for that all the little quality of life upgrades make it fun and worth it imo. when i do online i turn to Iracing. I do hoe that heat 6 has the same presentation quality as F1 2020.
