Nascar Pit Crew Close Calls

Saw a close call on pit road during the road course race so I decided to make this for this week's video. If you guys have any suggestions feel free to leave them in the comments section down below. As always thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe!

The drivers have cages, seat belts and HAN devices. The pit crews have, well, just damn good muscles, athleticism and luck. They are amazing men.

That last guy was hilarious- gotta have a sense of humor!! Also, thanks for NOT including Mike Rich's accident. I was there with my dad live for that, sitting right across from Bill Elliot's pit box when it happened and it was awful.

That last guy really made the best of the moment (freaking legend!), hope he is okay. I'll be honest, I am kinda scared when I look at pitstops in NASCAR compared to every other motorsport. But I guess that is one of its charms as well. The pit crews in NASCAR deserve more credits than they get now imo. (Great vid btw ;)

Thanks for this video! My personal favorite aspect of this sport is the pit road and I thought I’ve seen all of the pit road clips around but I haven’t seen 2/3rds of the clips in here.

I've had some close calls myself when I was a jackman. My buddy John was hit hard by a rookie when pitting at Pocono during an ARCA Series race.

It's not that they don't care. It's just that they are in a race: blood boiling, mind focused at the task at hand. Pit crews know what they're in for. The drivers can't go out and apologize every accident they cause.
