Nobody talking about how Ty dive-bombed Sam the previous restart, to which Sam saw coming, let him go by into turn 1, and got a run on him heading to the esses, but Ty put him in the wall. I'm sure Mayer remembered that for the final restart

The camera man put on one of the best coverages of a race. He beat everybody heading into all the turns, showing all the field almost all the way. If it wasn't for the camera man I'd left the race long ago. Some boss will tell the camera man, Don't do that again!.

After watching Gibbs wreck opponents and team mates through ARCA and Xfinity and getting undeserved wins and titles, it's nice to see someone give him a taste of his own medicine. He's piled up a pretty big tab, though. He's due about two dozen more of those, at least.

Creed has been my guy for a while now. It has been a painful "while" to say the least. Today was the icing on the cake for me. I had my arms up at first when he had the lead with 2 to go, but then remembered there's no way he won't screw it up somehow. Sure enough, he panicked and over drove 2 corners to give up the lead in under one lap. He ended up calming down, and did stop panicking and was also able to at least keep it within range of the leader for the rest of the race. He definitely should not be moving up anytime soon. Yes, second is a very respectable finish, of course it is. It's the second best you can get! I'm saying a good week for Creed is if he didn't crash out.

Wow , as an Australian who has been watching V8 supercars here I'm blown away at how far ahead you guys are with this Nascar racing compared to our generically created simulation style racing . Australian supercars has to step up their game in a big way to come close to this exciting real racing event. Sam Mayer did the textbook Hamlin move and took a cheap shot at the leader he couldn't pass , Young Ty Gibbs was actually pretty calm after being taken out by a cheap shot. I have respect for Ty and the way he handled the situation.

@JJA1987 Grampa's boy has become a very good driver,I don't follow these guys as closely as the I do the cup guys ,but that was a cheap shot whether he deserved it or not is maybe why he didn't complain very much.

@@beedyboy1395 Track limits have nothing to do with weight, power, or grip. Drivers use as much track as they are allowed. If they enforced track limits, they would stay within the lines.

Gibbs deserved this win. Every time I start to get back into NASCAR the total disregard, or non-existance, of rules against intentionally or unintentionally causing a crash take me right back out.

I agree Gibbs was the fastest car by far. So that’s why he shouldn’t have just bumped the 1 to the wall in the S turns. He could easily got the 1 after that, but he drove like a jerk, then was treated like a jerk on the next restart. It’s pretty simple, race people the way your want to be raced.
