The end bit was the icing on the cake for me and should be for everyone. One side calls upon Allah and the other side calls upon the Messenger of Allah. May Allah guide us all.

Subhan Allah, one is asking you to ask Allāh سبحانه وتعالى directly because he تعالى said: ادعوني أستجب لكم ان الذين يستكبرون عن عبادتي سيدخلون جهنم داخرين "Call upon me and I will surely respond to you. Verily those who disdane from my worship will enter Hell fire humiliated". While the other is asking you toopposs the words of the Messneger صلى الله عليه وسلم: "When you ask then ask Allāh".
