@@Madhindu19 who is not biased in this world? Everyone carries some or the other bias. Even those who you like are not unbiased. Usually people like those who they agree with and dislike those views who they disagree with. It is childish to expect unbiasedness from anyone, as no one is truly unbiased. Naseer represents the views of many people in society, so biased or not, he has the right to his views & also many others agree with him.

Naseeruddin is very honest when, as an intellecual, he says "I am a lapsed Muslim". I admire his courage because lapse means expired, and what he means is that when a person grows intellectual, Islam is bound to expire within him or her.

the only problem i believe was in casting Naseer sahab about the age... Akbar died at the age of 63... while Naseer sahab played the role of young/father Akbar... he was already 70+.. and it is clearly shown in his act... i hope he could actually behave a little different as a young Akbar...

Nasseeruddin Shah saheb is a gem whose repertoire of films is steller. He speaks without any fear and has a spine to go against the establishment, something that most of our actors do not dare to do. I have watched a lot of his old films made by Mrinal Sen and Shayam Benegal and his intensity is unmatched. Thank you Lallantop for bringing us this awesome conversation.
