If you’re ever in Oceanside, CA on your way down to San Diego from LA there’s a Parlor Doughnuts there! I used to go there all the time before going to the beach

You were experiencing your flight or fight response!! Super normal. When our amygdala senses danger (even if it's fake danger- it likes to error on the side of caution which is good for survival) it will subconsciously assess the situation and cause you to fight, run, or freeze. Since you were under the covers your brain probably decided hiding was the best option and made you freeze. The crushing feeling is completely normal too and just part of the flight or fight response. Adrenaline/anxiety causes literally hundreds of weird physical symptoms. Best thing to do is accept that it's normal and don't look into it too much. Your body is working exactly how it's supposed to to keep you safe :) love the video and you!
