@@Johnny-hn9ts i work at a bar on broadway and irs literally insane. I just moved to Nashville a few months ago from California, and i did not expect so many people there all day and night. And literally flocks of single women there. Its one of the number one destinations for bachelorette parties.. So you can only imagine lol

90% of the people in this video are NOT from Nashville. The tourists come out from everywhere. Now people want to start fights. Locals usually hang around the Gulch.

@@michaelgranka7904 I just recently got back from a visit and was surprised how everyone was so cool and calm. Everyone just having a good time , no fights that I seen other than a couple homeless people arguing . Will definitely be back soon!

People fighting bouncers get hauled off by the cops every night. The reason the streets are blocked off isn't to make Broadway more tourist friendly, it's because the police and fire dept. had a hard time getting through traffic to pick up drunks.

If you add the street names as you come to the intersections, that would help. Overall, it gave me a good idea of what to expect on an average summer Sat night (few masks, open bars that can be watched from the sidewalk, and wide walkways) Thx

Lower Broadway is really 1st thru 5th. Each light is a different streets.

I was stationed at fort campbell, and I loved tennessee, it's my 2nd favorite place next to my own state of Texas. I'd really like to move back to be honest. But nashville, not clarksville.

As lately they have been closing Broadway to make more room for walking. The crowds have turned more violent and drunk than what's even normal. I don't understand the appeal at all. I'm a native of 56 years and nothing good happens downtown. Now there's more homeless and panhandlers than ever and they get violent. This city actually prides itself on drunken nonsense. Don't ask me why but the tourist love it. I dread the whole area.

I'm a native as well and don't like what it's become. I don't mind the tourism, but it's just a massive free for all. I used to go downtown back in the early 2000s and it was a good mix of tourists and locals. It was busy, but a lot more laid back. Now it just feels like it's a place that out of towners come to get drunk and be obnoxious, then go home.

This place is crazy so much going on here if you can’t deal with the fast pace and big crowds don’t come Nashville is very over whelming for a first time visiter in my opinion it’s crazier than Mardi Gras but that’s my personal opinion Nashville is my favorite city people music and food overall

We used to live in Nashville, my wife is from a nearby area. We moved away in '65, It was a totally different place back then, no mobs of people like now. There were no Interstate Highways in, through, around, or even near Nashville back then, although I-24 was under construction in '65 but still several miles away. After seeing this video of 2021 Nashville my sincerest hope is that I *NEVER again* set foot in Nashville! What a mess! :(

Well i was curious to see how nashville really look like. Im from netherlands. But when i typed in nashville and watched this on the tube. I didnt expect this to be honest. In my imagination it was whole a lot different. Its just look a like another tourist hub like amsterdam. The sad thing is the raw atmosphere how it used to be is al gone when this happens. And i aint even that old

It's like a carnival for adults at night. I considered moving down there in my early 20's. Not sure if I would liked what this turned into to. The way the Live Nation and these Nashville suits planned to mish mosh all the music into one gender and try to brand it country? haha Oh well. I love all kinds of music but if it's NOT country music as we knew it pre 2000 just don't call it that. Most of these young people don't even know what real country music is.

They have bought up all neighborhoods in and around the city and have literally forced out people have been born and raised here for many generations. It's totally fucked I can't even buy a home in my own city due to these rich assholes moving here from all over the country. It's pathetic now.

@@montanaman2439 New Orleans is fun when it's not Mardi Gras, but Mardi Gras is complete bedlam. Can't even hardly walk down Bourbon Street, and all the bars/clubs are filled to capacity. Disclaimer: I was there before Katrina, so maybe things are different.

I was looking at the video and was thinking not a lot of black people so I would feel completely out of place besides everything is country and honky tonk themed they call it music City but it would have been nice to have some blues clubs there too or bars whatever you want to call them even though I enjoy all music but this atmosphere would be too overwhelming even for me being a black man
