Nastassja Kinski is beautiful, talented and extremely underrated actress. I still can't believe she didn't win the Oscar yet! I love her in Cat People, Tess, Terminal Velocity, The Hotel New Hampshire, Paris Texas, Harem, Revolution, An American Rhapsody, Red Letters. Nastassja was superhot in Cold Heart (2001) with Josh Holloway. I adore this fantastic actress.

I remember watching this the night of the broadcast. It's so clear she's on something, and Letterman handles her as well as anyone can. It's great to see such a polished performer put on the spot and handle it as well as David does. Classic television moment.

I noticed that at first she was totally out of it, i.e. she did not understand why she was being compared to actresses, she did not understand why Letterman was talking anything of her hair (almost like, "Why do you care? Why are you interested?"), and did not see herself as the same woman in the serpent picture (which was used on the cover of a film she starred in called "Cat People"...) confirmed several times before and when asked about it.

She always puts her hands on her face. It probably because she feels uncomfortable. I would too.

Note how she doesn't even remember the photoshoot with the snake initially. She doesn't see herself as that person.

Just intrigued to know, from a purely personal interest, if you were on David Letterman, watched by millions of people around the globe, would you feel absolutely calm and anxiety-free. Not trying to be combative, just want to know how other people would react in those kinds of situations. Her parody failed because how was anybody in the U.S. supposed to know? Maybe it was intended as an inside joke for her and her close circle of friends and fans, I don't know.
