I think the beat is dope, one thing I didn't like was those low ends on the 808's they were a bit muddy but overall the beat is solid. By the way I'm a big fan. I think you should check out Simon Servida he has a fire beat production course.

Tempo: I think it needs to be much faster I prefer 150-160 for Melo Type Beats. Sound Selection: Invest more time in looking for sounds because you can get away with the most basic chords and melodies by using quality sounds. Drums: Use a simple 2 step Hi-Hat If your main instruments that have a lot going on. I think Melo-type beats need a bouncy 808s with a short delay and a kick layered on top.(Your 808 selection is perfect ) Main instruments: I noticed most Melo beats normally use some kind of Piano with simple short chords. Try layering your main instrument with some other similar ones... Music Production is a subjective art so these are just my opinions that I think can improve the beat. The beat has potential TBH ....Good luck brother 🙌🙌
