brk nsh that’s no American accent silly, that’s a SA accent. US is a hybrid country, the culture and accent don’t originate from there. 3:28 BRAH!, Hip Hop Music has always been BIG on the radio stations but lyrics were mainly South Afrikan Languages so it was not recognized internationally. Artists like AKA and Casper took it internationally by adopting some American traits and English lyrics, paving the way for more artists to use this style instead of local culture and dialect. Edit: Yfm - Youth FM is famous for having promoted SA Hip Hop since the Skwatta Kamp and Proverb Days when artists were trying more mainstream techniques to appeal English speakers.
