This trial: meant to test your courage What it’s actually doing: testing my patience

i've never hated a trial so much lol it's not really difficult but rage inducing 10000%

This is not for the brave, it’s for people who have long patience

A quick update: I'm playing in late 2022, and it looks like the "safe point" candles have been fixed so that they are no longer safe points. So now the only safe points look to be the clusters of three candles and checkpoints. Other than that, most everything in this guide appears to still be accurate. Also, thank you for the guide, because even with it this took me almost three hours. So glad I'm finally finished.

The entire trial was literally just a guessing game for me

“We’re actually gonna start seeing some creatures” Me: wait what

When I first played this trial, a stranger player came to join me and they led me through until the end, leaving me doing nothing but holding their hand. I am so grateful for that person, because of them I got the Wisdom of Courage just a few minutes after starting the trial. They said they were from Japan, but I didn't get to know their name because the candle burnt out while we were chatting. To the person who helped me, thank you so much!

Great job, TGC. You managed to make a usually very relaxing game straight up infuriating with the wind and fire trials. And it's made even worse by the fact I'll have to do them all again for the winged lights after every Eden run.

I love how they said only the brave will survive, make the most terrifying creatures that rival the dark dragon and then go and call them dark WORMS. I can’t take them seriously

The power of friendship "I'm about to end this trials whole career" But seriously, with 4 people holding big candles you can walk through the worms and your fire doesn't even go down. We only died once because of a random pit we didn't know existed.

Lil tip: do a deep call if your having trouble finding candles! It helps a lot :)

This trial gave me so much rage, killing the dark worms at the end was the best

the fact that you passed by the candle cake without collecting the wax is both impressive and terrifying

I FINALLY finished this today. Tip: Have two friends with you. When I did this solo, I was stuck midway the third level but I brought two friends along and HOLY HELL it was so much easier. It was a piggyback + hand holding thing and all of us were holding candles. Our fire didn’t extinguished once EVEN when those worm things passed by or got near us. We basically breezed through the whole thing in less than 10 mins.

Gotta be honest, after 3 painful hours of fire trial I expected a little more than just a hug from the Prophecy Guide… the hug was needed tho after meeting those monsters🙃

Me and my friends just called those creatures “smoky krill”

her: does this in about 17 minutes, makes it look easy me: takes hours over the course of days and cannot finish the final trial worth shit

One year ago I quit playing this game precisely because of this Trial. I can't even describe how much anxiety this Trial gave me. And that music... I turned it off but it was still inside my head 🤕 So one year later (yesterday) I accidentally entered this game, and I decided to check it out. Turned out I was still in that damn black cave. So I've decided NOW or NEVER. And so, today, I finally went through it to the end! I feel like I was squeezed out, but I'm so proud of the level of my perseverance. And yes, I think this Trial is more about HOPE, than BRAVERY. I felt it so deep, rolling from anger to sadness to finally hope - powerful experience! P. S. If you are just at the beginning, I feel you & wish you luck 💜

10:13 I did the previous stages in like 20 minutes but from this part on it took me 2 hours that was hell I was crying and dying over and over

Shoutout to the 2 veterans who helped me in this trial today. I really didnt want to go alone and i saw two people flying tiwards where i headed and i asked them to lit me up and saw that they were wearing rly cool outfits so they must have been veterans. They were good friends i think. They had the friendship thing where you can piggybag each other. I felt bad that i was following them because I didnt have a clue on what i was doing (I hadn't watch this video yet). I thought just like krills they would spot you and attack .. turns out i was just in their way.I just tagged along with the two veterans but I kept dying and eventually got lost.. i honk just to see where they were and it shows that they were pretty far ahead. But they came back for me multiples times i felt so embarrassed and thankful for them. Whoever you are. Youre a real one

"It's not really that hard" Me who has died countless times to those worm things, ready to pull my hair out: "Oh rEALLY??-" I can't wait to get out of this trial 😭

It feels like there are no safe spots on the third level for me. Doesn't matter how careful I am, doesn't matter if I watch the enemies to time it right, they always find me. I'm not sure if they just patched the hell out of it to make it a brickable level, but I can't beat it. It's like the enemies just go straight for me, they don't even take the proper time to complete their pathing. No matter what I do, I can't get past the 3rd level. I've been trying to beat it for several hours now, all the other trials took me maybe 10 minutes a piece. This is just obnoxiously tedious and difficult for literally no reason at all. This will be the one light spirit I skip on every playthrough, absolute worst part of the game. Whoever designed these trials needs to be arrested.

This trial is like a boulder on my shoulders, and instead of me needing to try harder to drop the boulder at where it needs to be, my patience couldn't handle it, and in the end the outcome of this is me dropping it halfway. TONS OF FUN!😀

Hi guys!! I’m playing in 2023 after the patches trial of fire may seem unplayable and I thought about giving up BUT I think what they mean by “this is the trial of bravery” is that you have to go head first when it seems impossible to pass. I just started running from a candle to candle, I died many many many times and I really thought I should just quit and just not finish this trial but I pushed through and suddenly was by the final checkpoint with a great reward at the end (I will not spoil) so FIGHTING!!!! you can do it 🔥🔥❤️‍🔥 Ps. right now there is a message planted before you go into the trial and it says you should stick to the left and that is completely true!! I love whoever planted it💞💞 it is easier when you go to the left and at some point you just gotta blindly run to the left 🕯🔥🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️💨

my advice is definitely do this with a friend, it made it so much easier when i couldn't find a candle but they could and vice versa (and also u have a reason not to rage quit)

I remember doing this over a year ago, when I first started. I couldn’t get past the first floor. But now that I know tutorials exist, they really help! Ty’s for a tutorial. I love how you called them squirmles lol it made them seem so much less frightening

I have been trying for like 2 hours to finish this. I am more then out of patience, almost threw my switch away twice now and I honestly feel like crying and I felt soooooo stupid. This was such a big help not to lose my mind, thank you

that dark creature:(kills me) My speed mode: *are you challenging my darkside...?*

Tip: Have a friend do max honk as often as possible and tell them when to stop. The honk in sky works as echolocation. I had my friend do it and i passed the trial in almost half the time than when i first went in there. It helps you see the candles in the dark! Have more fun in fire trial now! 😊♥

One thing I noticed! If the non-checkpoint candle has a large ball of light at its base, it’s a safe place from the squirmmels!! I stood at one to test and had 7 passes and I’m fine :D

I wouldn’t have thought to deep call to see the squirmles-I assumed they were just terrifying boiler plates of fire and didn’t have an actual body, and I could not for the life of me make sense of the space I was in or the route they were taking. As a moth I completed this trial first try because it uses classic maze rule almost every game has: “right is never right, go left until you can’t go left and you’re forced to go right.” This rule works everytime if you use it correctly, of course. Remember not to follow your previous trail that led to the checkpoint and you’ll be good.

I have been playing Sky since it was released on Switch 2.5 years ago and today was the first time I managed to complete this trial (not for a lack of trying). What made it even sweeter was that it was my 200th winged light. Thank you for this amazing guide because I could not have done it without it!

Oml this trial was actual hell, I was stuck in this one area and could not for the life of me, find the next candle.

I was stuck at level 3 running around like a fool getting killed non stop, had a huge headache and finally i was there. After 1 hour and 15 minutes

9:25 i dont think that candle works anymore :( i tried scooting away from the creature so they couldnt reach me even if i go so far back that i cant use the light from the candle I'm still stuck here on the checkpoint lmao I'll keep trying Edit: I finished it!
