My mom shes 75 yrs old and has dementia. But when i play this playlist, she remembers every songs of Nat King Cole. It takes her back from her younger years.Thanks for putting this beautiful playlist.Godbless🙏

Nat King Cole was my mom's favorite singer. She said he had a "velvet voice" We traveled to San Francisco once a week to visit my grandma and sang to the radio all the way over. I enjoyed singing along with this morning's selection, Joe, remembering every word even though I haven't sung it in decades :-)

Hello good day! Since 1958 I am an avid fan of nat king cole. I admire his songs so much that even until now i am 77 year's old i still listen to his wonderful songs. My illness and having difficulty walking doesn't hinder me from tuning to his songs everyday, i can't ask for anything more than that a picture of nat king cole with dedication. I hope someone can read this and let to his family!

I work in an orthopaedic ward and had loads of elderly patient, with dementia or confused, every time they where confuse or sad, I just put this music on particularly Nat King Cole, as my mum & dad left early in this world and this is their favourite music.I treat my pt.like mum and dad like they were still around.😘

I believe Nat King Cole is the top male vocalist of his generation who started his career as a jazz trio.The first jazz trio without a drummer also the first to use Nelson Riddle&His Orchestra to arrange his music.His diction singing the songs perfectly and clearly puts him in a category by himself.

I'm 20 and I've always loved music from 40's, 50's, 60's... they had such a beautiful joyful yet melancholic tone. My heart always feels something unique listening to them. Glad I found another outstanding legend from this era: Nat King Cole.

My earliest recollection of music as a child was hearing this man’s voice coming from my mother’s phonograph singing “Nature Boy.” I was too young back then to know that I was listening to the sound of greatness. In my teen years as a student musician, I started listening to ‘King’ Cole’s work with his incomparable Trio in the 1940s as a means of better understanding the jazz idiom. It was then I fully understood what a giant of music he was and always will be. Regrettably, it was not too long after that that lung cancer took him from us. I never had the opportunity to hear him perform live, but my mother did, twice. Seeing Nat Cole live had a profound effect on her appreciation of good music, which obviously rubbed off on me. 😀

I had to put my 16 year old kitty cat to sleep her name is Zoee, she was there when I needed to cry all by myself,, and then face the world with a smile, I am person who hides my pain 💔....In Greek that means life and she was full of it. I can't seem to stop the pain or stop crying but when I listen to this beautiful song it warms my heart that she is in a better place 💖

After breaking up with my girl in '55 (high school) I would sing "Funny" 'How I stopped loving you' as I passed her in school. It took a while for her to realize after listening to the song completely that they were words from a broken heart. I lost her in 2019 after 60 wonderful years. This wonderful music takes me back to my childhood in Peru long before I could say a word in English. My parents had an LP "Nat King Cole Canta en Español" that we, the children, would play in the hi-fi set over and over until we learned the words of all his songs and would go around singing "a la Nat Kin Cole," imitating his charming accent that we never forgot and even now, after many decades, when I try to sing those songs I do it a la Nat King Cole.❤🤍❤
