After having discovered Natalia Ginzburg through essays on books by other great authors, I immediately was curious.
When I saw endorsements of the great women of contemporary English literature such as Zadie Smith, Maggie Nelson, Deborah Levy, Vivian Gorncik, Rachel Cusk, and Sally Rooney - on the recent reprints of her books - I was thrilled.
It immediately felt like I had found a rare treasure. And “The Little Virtues” remains one of the best things I’ve read to this day. You should read it. Absolutely.
I dragged my gal Olivia to read her, and then to talk about it on here. Yay!
I hope you like this!
Fans of Elena Ferrante will definitely love reading Natalia Ginzburg too
