Yasss! That’s why I wanna learn to do nails so I can do other girls nails and make sure there great and not half ass likes some nail techs do, that’s why I don’t even bother to get my nails done because no nail tech around my area really cares, they rush through your nails and want like almost 100$ for crappy nails 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ve seen too many of my friends go get there nails done and it turns out like crap so I’m hoping to learn!

Natalie MFP it just gives it a more curvier cut. A flat edged nail clipper just makes it straight so you can file it at an evenly way.

I notice that your nail clipper has a strait cutting edge and mine is kinda curvy. Now i c y wen i try to cut the sides for coffin shape it be kinda round and not straight and it piss me off lmao never new nail clippers had different shapes. I definitely need to get another 1

okay i have 2 questions 😭 1. what is the difference between regular nails and clear nails ? like do you have to use them when during certain sets or if the client request them because they like them better ? 2: does it matter what you use to dry/cure the nails ? like with gel do you have to use the UV light ? and with the regular acrylic do you have to let them dry naturally like by a mini fan like at the nail shop ?

Tiquana Walker so the clear nails are better because these days people usually want colored acrylic,gel polish or some other kind of polish..clear looks better when doing those because instead of seeing white or off white when you turn the nails over you see whatever color is on the front of the nail! Hope this helps.

Very informative thank you for this! I’ve always used the mia secret the times I have tried doing acrylic nails and I’ve always had lifting my nails have never lasted more than 2-3 days but watching your videos shows me all the mistakes I’ve made and it makes sense to why I’ve gotten lifting

Dont swipe the liquid on the skin. We can developed reactions! Myself and a fellow tech had severe reactions doing this. So I became a gel tech. I still get a little bumpy and itchy reaction, but not as bad. Please get out of that habit ❤

I'm a new to this just bought the Mia Secret products some how during the time I was doing my nail I went to scratch near my eye well I have a red bump burning sensation as well it's been five days and it's not going away .
