Profound truths: Robert McCready is handsome and energetic - and has little money. He also routinely directs me to Natalie Goldberg's books when I am facing a writing drought or just feeling generally dismal about my work. (FYI: His education has actually been both robust and Southern. He is a Pushcart nominee, and we are both graduates of the MFA writing program at Queens University in Charlotte.) His instincts and insights about literature are always sharp and thought-provoking. He is probably Natalie Goldberg's biggest fan. I enjoyed this interview and need that new book, so many thanks.

Well. I want to be the first to say that Natalie has been on here four times. All of her appearances have endured. They've induced discussion. When we've discussed someone with her, it's tended to be people like Bob Dylan. Allen Ginsberg. So, I agree with you. Yes, it's lovely to be mentioned. Thank you for being worthy of discussion.
