I would never buy a lipstick from an online description or the shade palette as the colours are rarely as shown. I have thin lips and there are many tones which really don’t suit me so I have to sample them in store. I am in 100% in agreement that none of the shades you invested in could be described as pink. I’m not surprised you were disappointed.

No, they’re absolutely not as described & for me, I can’t wear peachy colours either, and all these are versions of peach 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t think they suit you either Nisha. The last one is the best of the bunch, but not great. I won’t be buying any of those either, thank you for saving me some pennies as I had my eyes on these too. Much love 💕

Me too!! I'm extremely cool-tone (without a fake tan) so peach, brown or orange looks ghastly on me. I'm so happy to see others say it in hopes they hear us!! 🤍

I agree with you 100%. I was never a fan of ND colorstories in her palettes, too many similar shades, too pink, too warm, they all could have been done so much better with more versatility. Same with lipsticks now. The Peony doesnt look pink to me at all. Id say like soft coral/peach with a pink hue may be if at all. Daphne is far from mauve lol, even warm mauve looks way different ugh. They should perhaps check wikipedia for MAUVE color description. I dont see anything rosy brown in Calla. Google agrees with me. Rosy brown is way cooler and duh, more rosy and more brown. This looks just like another peach. In fact all of them look like peach colors, one lighter, one deeper... I knew smth wasnt right when I first saw the official promo pictures - I didnt see any ROSE color whatsoever there. lol Okay phew Im glad its not just me. Im a huge Rose /Mauve color fan and I know my thing. This is not it.

They are all peachy colour. Pretty if you have a dark tan . I love pink lipstick I would be disappointed to as they are not cheap. Xx

I totally agree with you when you describe the colours. They are much more corally than pink. They are much warmer too, not cool at all. The last colour looked best on you. Xoxo💋💖💞💖

I agree completely Nisha, these are ALL from the ‘peach’ family of colours. Like you I cannot wear peach or coral shades and would be furious if I had bought these based on their description. Very poor marketing.

I'm in shock! You are right on. Amerosa looks good on you, the newer colors did not, I was in graphic design & should know the bloody warm and tool tones. I can't seem to keep them in my noggin. You would be a great teacher! You explained it really well. Having the examples really brings it together!

Hi Nisha, I would agree that the colour descriptions aren't so hot. I think my preference was the first one you demonstrated. They all look good on you - everything does! I absolutely love your top in this video!

I had seen the pictures put up by the company and thought that for Peony and Daphne they were both not as described, certainly no pink or mauve tones, and seeing your video today absolutely emphasises that. I see only peach in that first lipstick. Not pink. The liner is very light, but peachy also. You are 100% correct.

I went right to the website before you even tried them on and was so disappointed because they didn’t look like rose to me at all and absolutely that first one looks peach… I said peach even before you did! I just totally agree and I was excited about this because I do have one of her lipsticks and it is a pink and it’s beautiful

Hi Nisha, my lovely! 🙂 I am in full agreement with you as to the description of the lip colors! I have been hearing the same from a couple of others who have shown that the website description does not match the actual product. I would send them all back. That is way too much money to spend on colors that are incorrectly described. I found the same with the Pillowtalk Quad. It's too much of a peachy undertone. I am fair, so it is quite unappealing. Have a "fabulous" day! What a treat, two videos in two days!

I think descriptions of lipsticks leave a lot to the imagination! I bought Charlotte Tilburys Penelope Pink and didn’t see any pink in it. It should have been Penelope Peach. I no longer purchase without seeing the items in the flesh, it’s too expensive a mistake. I agree the lipsticks you demonstrated are more peachy than pink but I thought they looked gorgeous on you - especially the first two. In fact my least favourite was the one you liked the best. I’m surprised you didn’t like them, they really seemed to suit you but it’s always a personal thing.

Same by me. Charlotte Tilbury "Dancefloor Princess" is discribed as cool pink, for real it is a warm peach or Apricot. Very annoying indeed.

I completely agree with you - and I can't wear peachy warm shades either. I saw these on Instagram recently and didn't buy them because I saw absolutely no rose or pink in them, and I wondered if it was just her skin tone that made the pink look peach. I'm grateful that you made this video to confirm my thoughts - definitely won't be purchasing. A shame because as you say the quality is great, it's just the colour that's not right.

The names are all flowers. There is a Calla Lily that is orange. The Daphne, I have no idea where that color idea came from. Very deceptive, I agree!

Peony does look pink to me but more of a nude pink, Daphnia is definitely not mauve at all the last one I forget what it’s called looks mauve! I think they all do look beautiful on you though!

I liked the first one on you..I thought it did look pink on you...the second one, I agree, it was more peach, I couldn't see any 'mauve' in it at all...however, I didn't mind the colour on you either....a change from your regular colours, and the 'nude' lip that everyone is wearing these days..... mind you...I do think you look amazing and gorgeous in everything ❤

I bought a lot of ND lipsticks in her nude collection and have been disappointed... But, what i can tell you is that you should be able to wear those lipsticks by changing the color, depending on the lip pencils you use. Thats what i have been doing. I love the amarosa as well, and i use it with MAC plum lip liner. I use my plum lipliner with the other lipsticks that i like less, to give them a color that matches me better.

Hi Nisha, I do think the gloss over the peony lipstick did make it look a little pinker and it didn't look bad on you at all. I agree that the second one was more peach than mauve. Calla did look the best on you but I must agree that I like pinks/mauves better on you in general. Have a great day!

HI Nisha It i the first time have heard off this brand off lipstick There so so many on the market after seeing your demo love it "Are the lipsticks you are using in this clip long lasting ? As normally have to re apply my lipstick not sure if these are long lasting Normally when i apply i blot with a tissue than reapply Donna xx

Aww Nisha I have stopped buying ND lipsticks for this very reason. I ended up buying 5 of the I Need Nude lipsticks trying to get one that I liked. None were as they were described. I also have Amarosa but again it was not as described. Plus I also find that the ones that are supposed to be Pink are all peachy. I’m not even considering the I need Rose collection for this very reason. I am currently loving the BK Beauty lipsticks. I layer them and find I can get some amazing Pink/Berry/Mauve looks by layering the lip liners with the lipsticks, and they last all day with maybe one touch up. Def my go to favs atm. Xxx

@@SugarPuffAndFluff if you’ve not tried it yet you should try filling in your lips with alter ego lip liner, and then any of the Acceptance, Inner Beauty or Kindness. You get fantastic Mauve shades which I know you love. I blot after the lip liner and again after applying the lipstick and lasts most of the day. For lighter shades I fill in lips with sweet pea or pink lady and then either acceptance or Inner Beauty. Gorgeous xxx

They are pretty but definitely yellow undertone. I prefer cool colors with blue undertone. I have a stack of lipsticks that are not like the description or color on packaging. It gets very frustrating.

I agree that the descriptions are not correct and can see why you are disappointed but I do think all the colours look beautiful on you but would suit a neutral eye better as they don’t match the pink eye you are wearing today. I wear a nude lip 95% of the time but always get compliments when I wear something brighter. I’m tempted by these and love the packaging. Great and fair review as always Xx

All of them are peach, in different strengths. Compared to your pink based eye shadows they don’t go in my opinion and you can see they are different base (peach).

No mauve or pink Nisha so definitely understand why you are disappointed.I find lipstick hard to find online because of the colours.I used to love dark colours but as I get older they just don’t do anything for me,so I’m going for light colours & some bright colours 😘

Hallo dear! I agree and can report, that's the same game with Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks. I bought one called "Dancefloor Princess", which was described as "Cool pink". What I got was a very warm Apricot - iiiiiih!!! A cool toned lipstick is very hard to find - especially muted and nude ones. I would be very happy to see a recommendation from you for cool toned lipsticks. The only one I find is "Snob" from MAC. Stay healthy and happy and many thanks for your warning, most of us have sponsered the high priced brands more than enough for false discriptions, it is a shame. 👍❤️

I actually love them, especially the Peony. Not with the eyeshadow you’re wearing today, but with warmer brown/bronze I think that would look lovely. I completely agree that the colour descriptions are way off though

Hi Nisha l do love the colour peony but not in those lipsticks, much too pale for me. The one l liked on you was the rosy brown shade, l thought that did suit you. It is hard when choosing, you just don't know. Those discriptions were way off. Thanks Nisha xx

Peony looks pink to me. It's very pretty. I'm cool and I would wear it. Daphney, certainly doesn't look mauve and not pink, either. I would call it coral. Calla is pretty. The liner looks rosy brown, but the lipstick doesn't. I can't put a name to it. I think they're all very pretty and the gloss looks so comfortable. I'm sorry the colors aren't what you expected or like. 😪 xo~linda

Off topic, I was thinking about your concern of damaging your hair with a straightener and I wanted to recommend one of those new big OVAL brush hair dryers. Incredibly they straighten without putting any bend in your hair (unless you want one), they also add volume! Surprisingly, they are different & don't need a straightener using this device (Hot Tools one). I don't recall ever seeing one on your channel, so I wanted to share! 🤍

I thought the last one looked the best I think that was what you called a Rosy Brown. And when you put the lip gloss on it it really highlighted your skin. The first one, I think was called peony, according to my screen, I thought it looked pretty nice on you however if you were looking for a pinky color, in my mind as a wildlife artist, pink is not a color you put warm tones to unless you add more red to it. And by that time it's no longer pink it's more like a coral. But I know what you mean though, I hate buying cosmetics (esp lipsticks, which is my favorite thing to buy!) that turn out to be totally opposite of the description!

The first one looked like a warm pink. The second one looked like a darker peach definitely not mauve. The third one was closer to the description but still warm. I would complain and get money back cause you bought it from there description and they were totally off.

Sometimes I don't think people understand what the colour mauve is lol. The one they described as a mauve pink has neither of those colours in it. It just looked like a darker version of the first one which was straight up peach! Emma x

None if the descriptions are accurate color wise. That 3rd is not at all rosey brown on camera. It also has peachy undertones.

No; they definitely look peachy to me as well. Can you write the company and ask for a refund? Even though the sets save you some money as opposed to individually purchasing them, they’re still quite pricey. I too would’ve been disappointed if I had purchased these lip products and they leaned more towards peach than pink. Deb

It’s so frustrating when you spend good hard-earned money on something and it doesn’t come as described. I do agree with you that the descriptions aren’t as accurate as they should be. However, I really like that peony on you, and I think you have beautiful teeth. When my mom had false teeth made, she was in her early 50s and made sure that they were imperfect-showed wher her original teeth overlapped a bit, and not as bright white as some people would choose. They were still white, but I think you get what I mean. Nobody wants to get false teeth in their early 50s, but she had horriblly weak and rotten teeth due to her well water, growing up.Of course we always look our prettiest in what we are the most comfortable in, and I do love that final color on you.

Ugh how annoying 😩😩 I see what you mean exactly and I have a few lipsticks like this Nisha with the name pink in it and I’ve got them home and it’s nothing like pink and I’ve ended up pairing them with warm tone eyeshadow cos they’re peachy not pinky! I’m the same as you love a cool tone pink and the last one was to die for just perfectly you , the others as nice as they were I don’t think were you but as soon as you put the last one on I thought oh yes this is the one! So disappointing for you and the ones I have I very rarely reach for cos I don’t know I can’t even tell what colour they are and they don’t match anything but in the shop I thought they were perfect . I got a number 7 one the other day it said desert rose it looked cool mauve in the shop I got it home it’s just plain old nude no hint of Rose or mauve or anything so i have to put pink over the top then it’s mauve 😂😂😂 xx

Contact thecompany and ask for a refund. You went on the descriptions they gave on the website and ordered them in good faith. They have no provided what they have described therefore you are entitled to refund as far as I’m concerned. Try emailing them you never know!

Didn’t like those colors at all. The first one was like a coral color and the second one was almost tawny mauve color. The third was a browny neutral color.

I think Natasha Denona has had a few misses lately. These lipsticks did not fit the description. Not at all. I would fund that very frustrating. I bought the Bronze palette last year as my first Natasha Denona palette. I loved it, but now I have hard pan on at least two matte eyeshadows. That is disappointing. I have not liked much of her recent releases.

Your natural undertones are skewing he lipsticks peach.. other influences are showing the lipsticks as described by ND. However I absolutely think peach is beautiful on you
