I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

I really like the way you taught in this video. Circling the shadow, giving the brushes used a d close ups. I was able to take pictures and create a file for future reference. Your speed was perfect leaving the information up long enough to capture and not have to slow down the video or rewind.

I love the piano background music! Mostly people add some horrible techno music which almost gives me anxiety. (And yes, I am older than 18, as you can hear, haha!) Such beautiful looks you created. I wasn't sure how it looks with your and my eye colour but I think with a good layer of mascara like you did and maybe a bit of eye liner, it is not bad for blue-green eyes. :-) I will pick it up!

I bought the shades from Mel's bundle during a previous sale, and since it's pretty spot on color story wise with the ND, it's redundant to get both. And much as I like ND quality, I like Sydney Grace even more. Such a beautiful color story!

Mine came yesterday! I ordered it directly from Natasha’s website and I think I paid about £20 for delivery, but I found a discount code and bagged 10% off. Her deliveries are really quick and I find they always come on or before the launch date. I really love this colour story and couldn’t wait for it. I very nearly ordered Mel’s selection from Sydney Grace as I adore their eyeshadows, but it would have literally cost double to get it here to the UK. Top job as always, Charlotte xx❤

As much as everyone is concentrating on the greens and pinks in this palette, I am really looking forward to those gorgeous neutrals. (I loved your second look!) I could see myself adding a bit of green OR pink to the tans/browns/golds, but NOT combining the greens and pinks. That’s a bit too much for me. But the neutrals alone, or the neutrals plus either green or pink, will be gorgeous. I picked it up during the Sephora sale and can’t wait to get it!

Great review! The looks are pretty. I love my retro glam palette so much and I see so much versatility in it. I hope those that want it in the UK can get it soon. Retro Glam broke sales records on the first day of launch so there's definitely people that love this palette more than those that don't and those people complain endlessly about hating it. I just don't get it? To each their own but I for one love Retro Glam!!

I wish the greens didn’t lean so mint/blue. On the eyes, it reminds me of the midi Zendo palette. I did get a bunch of Mel’s singles to make my own version. 🥰

I'm going to grab the In Mel's Memory bundle. Retro Glam lacks depth for me while Mel's has it. I just have to wait for the end of the month. Edit: funnily enough, this is the first review I've seen where this palette looks like it might have more depth than I thought... The final green look is stunning! 😍

I also ordered Mel’s bundle instead 1. For the depth and 2. Because Mel’s family gets a portion of the bundle sales so I wanted to support that!!! I cried when I saw the ND Retro Glam for the first time wishing Mel could see that not only was she spot on with her color story but in my opinion actually did the better job! She’d get a kick at how close she was!

this looks amazing on you! I'm in two minds about the colour story for my complexion as I'm paler, but you might be changing my mind. I really want someone to do a pistachio colour rather than a blue, emerald or sage green, but apart from the tiny Viseart one, nobody seems to like that colour 🥲

I really don't get all the hate this palette is getting. It's meant to be faded and muted tones - it is retro after all! Personally I think it's perfect for 60s/70s-inspired looks and can't wait until it's available in the UK for me to be able to play with it!

Love the looks you came up with, especially the last/final green look! 🤩 I love ND and am holding off on getting this Retro Glam palette later as I have been enjoying playing with and putting looks together by Mel Thompson's ND Retro Glam inspired palette, which is now on a back order bundle special through Sydney Grace called 'In Mel's Memory bundle'. I’m not into greens but this palette looks nice for those that like greens. The My Dream and Glam are more my vibes, but I do like the shimmers and that pinkish shade in this.

I can't wait for this to arrive in the UK, i don't mind buying from beautylish but they add taxes on and we don't pay taxes on anything under £120 so i only really shop there for Sonia G and Wayne Goss. I've seen alot of reviews on this and they all say it doesn't have enough depth but i don't mind pulling from another palette for that, she can't please everyone 😒 your 3rd look was stunning definitely trying this when i get mine.

I hoped to see a video from you today, because your sense of humor and your calm voice kinda helps me relax after a stressful day. I might skip this palette because greens are not really my thing. I’m not a fan of sage green on me so I just figured this palette was a NO for me…but your first two looks were stunningly beautiful. I love them. It’s honestly making me reconsider this palette. (Maybe use a sage green for a bottom lid accent sometime. Plus I don’t like her cream to powder formula but this palette only has one of them which is the best ratio in her palettes I’ve seen in a long time! AND I definitely don’t have any color story like this!) Gah! Is this palette going on my holiday list? I think it is!

This is one I want and will probably buy..... but in some sort of sale- and just before SPRING when I feel this colour story is far more appropriate! I'm not sure how flattering it will be on me- it could go either way. I am a fair neutral-slightly-yellow leaning olive with light limey-green eyes. Greys look oddly good on me- but bluey greens not so much. So jury's out. I am really curious to try it though.

@@DaniGaro did you check on the singles? I already had quite a few so I didn’t have to purchase a lot. The singles were only $3.50 each. I’m still waiting on them though.

Was thinking of skipping it, as it looked like glam palette mixed with greens. But I swatched it in person, it complimented my undertones so much, so I couldn't resist haha. It is so hard to shop for almost anything mainstream for my skintone, since everyhing is either orange or very warm red-ish. Can't wear anything like that, as it makes my eyes looks so dirty, but it is most of pallets this day 😿. But this turned out to be so different and such a cool match. I think girls with warmer undertones should checkout SG Mel bundle, I think it could suit them more since this palette is colder in tones than hers.

It’s a no from me, very rarely use the mini, not my colours, bit wishy washy 😂 love the Dior Khaki neutral palette, much nicer green shades & even the mini gold has nicer greens, but that’s my opinion, it’s only makeup at the end of the day 😊

I would love to buy the palette but the greens on my warm golden undertone looks very gray and make me look like a dead person. I love the mini retro but I never touch the sage green in that palette.

Hmmmm, I like it but I am not in love. I expected softer or not so bright colours. I expected more peachy rose and more taupe and beige. I love the green and grey silver look but when you have Anastasia and Lisa Eldridge and many other ND palettes, Tom ford and so on well, I am going to return this palette.

In today’s world it is astonishing to me that the UK has problems getting products shipped to them… It’s not the NORTH POLE whereas you need to travel with a team of huskies pulling your sleigh across the frozen, snow covered land… it’s London for Pete’s sake….🤨I don’t get it… Anyway this pallet is calling me… I know I don’t need it… I know I have several of those shades in Natasha’s Pastel palette… it’s just calling to me😬.. It’s the holidays I cannot blow my money away on yet another eyeshadow palette that I do not need…🫣 God give me strength🙏🏻

I bought the Mini palette when it launched, but have only used it once so I'll be passing on this one. I've only just bought her My Dream palette; the colours of which suit me 100% better. Pastel shades tend to make me look rather washed out, and I'm pale enough as it is.

Yes you noticed that too 😂 She can tell everyone else that they don’t need it because she gets most of this for free now 🙄 I gathered that was her justification for these videos. Really tasteless and she should have chosen only one video to upload, because it’s hypocritical as hell.

You made beautiful looks! To me, this palette is a pass, though. I love the greens, and they would suit me, but pink is not flattering on me. The pink shimmer is too dark for my liking, compared to the rest of the palette. Plus, I really want at least one really dark matte. I don't need that very dark shimmer because I make a mess if I use a shimmer to deepen up my outer corners. So it's nice, but to me it's not perfect.
