@@marie3539 No, we are NOT "into taking human lives," if that is what you wanted to say. Please do not insult others here, because all of us know about all the pros and contras of that topic. If you actually want to promote the idea of no death penalty, you've chosen the worst possible way to do it. We are NOT rejoicing or being "into" taking human lives. We are, however, appalled at Daybell's own inhumanity and the unfanthomable cruelty of what he has intentionally done to his wife and to those two beautiful, precious, helpless children. His biological life is one thing, but his sociopathic nature is a proof that his human appearance houses a being completely void of any humanity whatsoever. Will his death bring Tylee, JJ and Tammy back? No. But it will serve as a brutal punishment for taking three precious lives that he has ended. It is also to remind others out there to be careful what they do, because while every society has it's inhumane elements, this society does not tolerate murdering children. Daybell still shows no remorse whatsoever, and not only is he still the same sociopathic monster, but we have seen that he still controls his family and others as a cult leader and that he still promotes his murderous doctrine of death. At this very moment, Daybell's pathologically inhumane teachings are endangering many other children, in the most literal sense. That is why devaluing his life in the most cruel way that is legally possible is a warning to others that human lives are sacred and that taking them means choosing death. Chad Daybell intentionally dehumanized four people, including two children, and because of that they were slain in the most horrific way, so the society is not content with just keeping him incarcerated so that he cannot repeat his filthy crimes. No, the representatives of the people have decided that he has dehumanized himself to such an extent, that he needs to face the most brutal and barbaric treatment that any civilized society has to offer: taking his life as a punishment for the lives he took. Is it disgusting? Of COURSE it is. I hate that, and we have seen that the jurors had such hard time making this decision, they will stay traumatized and haunted by Daybell's crimes for life. Literally. So kindly don't insult our grief and the memory of the victims by mocking our views. You are not the only one who has feelings here, nor are you morally superiour in any way.

Thank you Nate. I have heard where some prisoners loose their minds and don’t even know or remember why they are in there. Just seeing the outside, the grass is green, birds flying up above, just another day. Some people never think beyond their selfish desires and lack of respect for another’s life……until they are caught, tried in Court and sentenced. Thank you for showing us what most people hardly think about in their daily lives. My question is do they eventually have jobs to do or something to read……seems to me they would absolutely go crazy. I know they deserve to be there, God is the final judge.
@gsmith60266 күн бұрын
Chad won’t have any job, he is in seclusion in maximum security. He will spend 23 hours locked in his cell. That is mostly for his own safety. When the other inmates get wind of what he did to two innocent children, there will be a couple that will want to make him suffer. He will be allowed to read, and if someone buys him a TV, he can watch local channels. He will be able to play with his “storm” to his hearts content. He could write a book, but since he is in prison, he can’t get any financial gain from his crimes and any money made will go to the insurance company to pay back the money he got for murdering Tammy..
@-greentoad6 күн бұрын
@@gsmith6026 He will not be locked in his cell 23 hrs a day mostly for his own safety. All death row people whether their crimes include children or not, all spend 23 hrs in their cell. Nate, just something to think about... with your high level of interest in criminal investigations, you might consider taking a Criminal Justice class where it's "required" that students tour prisons as part of their curriculum. In my Corrections class, we toured our Death Row at our only Super Max in Arkansas. One of the West Memphis 3 was there when i toured. He has since been released. Interesting story on them. But, if you think you would like to tour the inside of all levels of prisons, you might consider taking a Corrections Class or whatever your local college offers. Then you can report back to us on your experience from "inside prison."

That is the one thing I do not agree with about our system. I can see possibly one appeal per person, but we spend all that money on getting through the case, then we spend all that money housing prisoners. When they are sentenced to the death penalty I think one appeal should be sufficient.

@@amberapp417 Yes, of course it was, but that's why he was charged with and convicted of those crimes and sentenced to death. If I were those families, I would be more upset that Lori couldn't get the DP and so therefore no solitary confinement.
@Eyes.WideOpen7 күн бұрын
@loveforeignaccents as a society, we have a right to be upset about both at the same time. Taxes should not be used to feed, clothe, house him, and take care of his medical needs for decades.
