Simon Bosman gets credit for the first descent of Cathedral Rock in 2016, which made the evening news. To our knowledge, the line has not been attempted since. And with good reason, its rugged. Lars Romig and I started at 5am to avoid the hordes of hikers that frequent this popular hiking trail. Yes, it is technically open to bikes. No, you should certainly not attempt to ride Cathedral Rock. It does make for a scenic hike though. This is hands down, the line that scares me the most in Sedona. No question. #followcamfriday risking life and limb for the viewing pleasure of the internet. All joking aside, we do this sort of thing to overcome fear and push what is possible. At the end of the day, that is all the reward we need. Nothing more.

When all the MTB trails start to seem too easy, "well there's some hiking trails we could try" started to do the same out here in the east with #bikethewhites. That middle slab section looks deadlier than the white line though!

Hey Nate! Are you still on a Hero4/Gimbal set up? That's what I'm on and wondering if it might be worth finally letting go of the gimbal and going with a Hero 8 or 9 or do you still see more value in still riding with a gimbal? Awesome video BTW. That trail barely looks rideable! Even hiking it seems sketchy AF.

Nate you seemed to go around Simon Boseman’s big move after the crack area. Didn’t think that was an option, I’ll have to go back up and check it out.

It is the only option currently. The large loose rocks may have changed a bit since Simon rode the line. Turning to the right there is currently not a thing. It is amazing to see this thing change from all the hiking traffic.
