I know I am not the only one that is ready for the Grant family. I'm just hoping it isn't at the very end of S11. I've been waiting for these two to get married since S6! Hope it happens in S11 and hope we don't have to wait until the last episode to bring it on. Time to get 'er done! ❤😂

Yea but it didn't turn out the way we expected and thats why i don't understand why they did a complete flip flop it doesnt make sense i dont think they did Nathan right I'm so disappointed how it turned out.

Beautiful analysis and so very true. Unfortunately, the writers/execs completely did a 180 degree turn and killed a story that will never be. Lucas simply does not bring the magic that Nathan is able to bring. Nathan makes Elizabeth come alive with hope, passion (whether expressed anger or desire for Nathan) and faith in love. But we will never see that now. Brian Bird and company managed to ruin it. Poor storytelling is all I see on the horizon and a soon to be cancelled WCTH. Pride goes before the fall.

I said that I wasn't going to talk about how the triangle ended and let it go and I haven't watched since season 8 ending but it seems like everytime I log into you tube there pops up videos of Elizabeth and Lucas or a video showing scenes with her and Nathan and that's kind of strange and somewhat uncaring towards the fans that were pulling for her to choose Nathan ! In my opinion they made a decision that had shock value and basked in the light of superficiality! Im.not going to get caught up in that again because I don't watch anymore but I still hope that the viewers that does that they enjoy the show ! But I agree with everything that you have expressed!

Sigh. I could say I'm Team Lucas but I can also clearly see there are all these unspoken feelings, long glances with Nathan. Yet there's more lighting up, happiness and open communication with Lucas. I guess the creators didn't expect to create such a strong triangle. Two men who show their love in very different ways and bring in different things for the Elizabeth character. I could see Hallmark picking Nathan for Elizabeth. What makes me wonder is this - moving forward if the show is to go on for several seasons, how would the the Nathan- Elizabeth connection look without all the angst /slow burn that hooks us in. In a movie, this works perfectly as it ends when the couple gets together. Also narratively would we want to see every mountie adventure tinged with Elizabeth's anxiety. In Lucas- Elizabeth I see limitless possibilities where the plot could take you anywhere . I hope the show only grows in strength after the choice is made.

@@gilbertanne88 yeah i see where you are coming from - and Nathan and Elizabeth are an ideal movie couple with the slow burn style but i think the writers could come up with interesting stories for Nathan and Elizabeth if Hallmark picks Nathan. But i 100% agree that whoever they pick they need to make it strong and compelling. #TeamWCTH

Exatamente isso. Era evidente o sentimento dela por Nathan. Por quê tanto dilema desnecessário? Lucas tinha a ver com a vida q ela deixou para trás, q poderia ter vivido, cheia de glamour. Mas optou por Hoppe Valeey. A simplicidade e a paz. O servir e educar. Nathan resumiu isso tudo.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! Little did Elizabeth know that Nathan was battling losing Jack just like she was. So hoping that they decide to both follow their instincts and have the courage to love each other like they've always wanted to, this time without fear in the way.

Whoever the writer is or was they did not make us believe Lucas and Elizabeth belong together; if you watch the series ever since Nathan came to town she was kind of curious about him, she wanted to know everything, she goes far as seeking him out and when she found out he has a niece that's when her curiosity really kicks in to high gear; when Allie's dad came to town she wanted to know who was that man anyone who watches the series knows that Elizabeth is and will always be in love with Nathan that is my opinion.

@Nancy Ross If you mean the one before she hugs Nathan (which was Season 7 season finale), good question. I have never seen that one. But I have a couple of observations-The girl in the left corner has what looks like purple hair which would not be in sync with the time period, so maybe a “set” photograph? Also, whoever Elizabeth is hugging, if is supposed to be a Mountie, he is not in full uniform. He doesn’t have his belt and , correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t think the Mountie uniform has that flap in the back??
