Nicky’s mom needs to back off. It’s not her wedding. If she is so desperate to plan a wedding, how about she plans vow renewals with her husband? 🤔 It’s her daughter’s special day, NOT hers. I am impressed with all of the hardwork and dedication that the groom did for her wedding day. I wish Nathan and Nicky all the best. 💗

This was absolutely gorgeous. The amount of work and dedication and stunning creativity this groom brought to the table for the woman he loves is the perfect reminder of what weddings are truly about. He created a beautiful wedding and venue for his beautiful bride.

I get that mom has her fantasies about her daughter's wedding, But she's forgetting it's her DAUGHTER'S wedding. When mom said daughter was being "selfish" for wanting to get ready at her own home night before, that was it for me.Shes tried to decide every element of the wedding and neglected to think of who is ACTUALLY getting married. Newsflash, Mom:- It isn't you.

Where can I get me a Nathan! 😊 Outstanding work he did. That wedding was one of the best I've seen on this show. I can fully understand how her mother felt. Doesn't matter what age they are, that's still her baby and you only want the best for them. Nathan stepped up and did just that.

Nathan is amazing! Simple and loving, He literally put so much love and creativity into everything. Beautiful venue! All the best to then both. PS> I think her mother may not have had the wedding she wanted; so she was trying a do-over. Hope she stays out of their business!

Heart warming to see this lovely couple marry. The groom sure put his all in for his bride with still elements of who he is ... just perfect. At the end I think mom finally came to realization this was a new journey for this wonderful bride and groom together ❤ God bless them!

Here in the states , we always have a wedding shower for the bride , ' sometimes couples '. This is the first one I have seen on these shows ....Beautiful wedding and reception !

I viewed this again. Nice story. I still feel a hotel or historic venue would have been the same cost and a little more elegant with proper bathrooms . Everything was so nice but the boutineres. I wonder if it was on purpose that some tree from hthe farm was used because everything so elegant except the botoniere green.

I think that when people go to services regularly the vicars are much more flexible. It is when you never go to church then try to get their services on short notices they feel like you do not really care about God or the church.

I think it is a shame that the vicar refused churchservice... we didn't get to know the reason, but all in all it crushes their wish to get married in church... how much you believe in God should never be measured on, as how often one appears in church... you can pray and worship God wherever you are, wherever you want, ... l wish they can get a later date for an addisional church wedding service ... how ever this turned out , l wish them a great married life together for many many many good years

I must say that I don’t understand clergy who refuse to perform weddings. You have a couple who want to make their vows before God. I’d think that was something they’d want to encourage?

They want to perform the marriage ceremony to couples that have faith & respect the ceremony & Christian belief & morals rather that a church wedding for just the one day.

@@onceuponacrime9307 I understand that; I simply question whether the refusal to perform the ceremony because they aren’t “Christian enough” leaves a positive or negative impression on the couple and their families, and might therefore affect their future likelihood of returning to the fold of religion. When my husband and I married, we were not observant of any religion. Our local clergy married us anyway. Several years later, we became very active and raised our children in the church. If we had asked and been refused, I assure you we would never have darkened the doorway of another church, and our children would not have received a religious upbringing. Who wins in that scenario?

The UK has strict rules on being a member of the parish and neighborhood. We live in the States, my husband is British. The vicar, who was leaving, christened my daughter as a favor to my MIL. My husband’s Nan, mother and he were all christened there. Three years on and the new vicar refused my son’s christening so rudely that he made my MIL cry and my FIL nearly went over to punch the vicar. So no christening for my son as they didn’t live inside that parish anymore.

jeez you could be renting that venue out to the locals to get married in after that lol 😆 bring a tent/ caravan ⛺ your sorted lol .And they could even make it better if they wanted like , they only had 3 weeks ! Well done least he got those hands washed ,hate to think getting down and literally dirty before hand with them clubs 😆😆😆😆🤯🤢

Nathan is a real “MAN” and he married a real “WOMAN”. These two are a picture of God’s plan in Genesis chapter 2: verses 18-25. They will have beautiful children and be happy enjoying life this side of heaven. Blessings!!!!!
