I totally get y'alls opinion. I'm 32 myself. Pop punk was always one of my go to genres from back in the day, but obviously I don't necessarily relate to it now. Which is probably a good thing. That being said my memories of being in the situations that do relate are still vibrant, and I do remember how I felt back then. So I still connect to the new stuff pretty well with nostalgia. It takes me back and I love it. Also, there are teens these days that can relate to this music which helps keep the genre alive.

The pizza guy is Tyler Posey, an american actor and he also does music. You could listen to his songs. His band is Five North and before that it was Pvmnts.

The song is a pop punk banger. No they didn't reinvent the wheel or anything, but I'm happy about that! Pop punk is supposed to be fun, with catchy choruses and thats what is there.

I would say this song really grew on my since they dropped it - initially wasn't as keen, for similar reasons visa vi the lyrical content - but then on repeat listens it's become just such an earworm, and more than anything else it's Just Fun - pure unabashed pop-punk that's unapologetic about the fact that it is pop-punk is something State Champs consistently excel at Also I do just love the references to 'The Finer Things,' and 'A Part Of Me' during Ben's part

The first time I heard this song I liked it. The lyrics being with you is like working on the weekend kinda hit me because I got put on the weekend shift at work this past year so when I heard it for the first time I thought F ya working on the weekends suck. I'm 41 but I like songs that take me back to when I was younger. I understand why the parts of the lyrics would not hit for someone in a loving relationship tho.

I've been a pop/punk-rocker since forever and State Champs are probably my favorite band as of right now with New Found Glory dropping down to a second place (in terms of recent releases).
