To be fair both in the original and in the remake, the bow guy is firing arrows off of the string behind his back, as his entire body is a bow.

That wallet wasn’t Croco’s. Croco stole it from a toad. And Mario can either sell it or return it. And returning it gives a better reward rewarding you for being nice.

When I sold the wallet, I went to talk to the toad and I was in shock realizing it was his. I restarted the save and gave the wallet back 😭😭

Not really. Having an extra 123 coins early in the game helps with certain purchases. Getting a Flower Tab or Frog coin later on is effortlessly pointless. You won't need many FPs until probably Moleville if you play conservatively. Besides, you can earn limitless Flowers from Booster Hill and the Mushroom Boy later. If you sell the wallet...the owner will stay mad at you. Forever.

Never played the original, but I’ve played the entire Mario and Luigi series and I’ve played paper Mario 64 and super paper Mario and enjoyed all those games. I heard a lot of good about this game, and it absolutely delivered

I played M&L SSS and I loved it I played PM TOk and It was super fun I played Paper Mario 64 and it was godly I played Ttyd and It is the best Paper Mario game I played (SPM is my favorite but I haven’t played it) And BIS was also Godly I really want to play Mario rpg remake too (Maybe on my Birthday)

@@andresugalde916 I see m&l as the sequel tbh, it's not in a paper world, it's in the og mario world, and it's mario going on in an adventure rpg style, but this time with his brother Luigi, the m&l series also is kinda like Luigi's character arc, which is why I'm against Luigi being a playable character in MarioRPG, it ruins continuity by already giving Luigi a big name by being one of the people who defeated a multi-universal being

To your point on there being no voiced cutscenes, I can immediately imagine Mallow with Kirby’s voice acting for his dialogue. Given how Mallow’s new design gives off major cutesy Kirby vibes, it should’ve made sense for Mallow to have that kind of voice.

Honestly, when I saw they gave us action command timing I was a bit upset because I thought it was going to be permanent. However, after finding out it goes away when you get good enough I started being okay with it, especially since it'll only come back if you start doing bad with the timing again.

3:27 For those wondering, I think Yardovich was the original name in japanese (not sure but not gonna check honestly XD). My guess is that the name was re-translated because in japanese "Yari" means "Spear" and they just made a complete translation

The original was already an easy game. The following changes all make it even easier: Auto-saves, action command prompts, looser inventory limit, item storage, weakness/resistance text, easier to follow eggs in the lucky game, triple attacks, early signal ring, echo signal ring... *and they decided it needed an easy mode?!*

Yaridovich's name was changed because "yari" is the name of a weapon in Japanese and they just gave up on giving him a new name originally Not saying "Speardovich" is good, in fact I still think of him as Yaridovich, but it makes sense

0:37 Uh, holding R or L when moving you walk slower allowing you to make those jumps in the fireplace levels more carefully. Giving you the option allows you to pick which one u want for default. Many may prefer to walk and hold down R or L as a way to speed up with a more natural feeling.
