If I may, as an actual competitive pinball player. while I’ve never played the Kirby version of pinball, I have played both versions of Pokémon pinball. I believe they use the same engine and what I can say is that you probably weren’t nudging. There is a nudge button at least for the Pokémon game that moves the playfield so you won’t get as many drains, I hope this makes the game more enjoyable.

If you can handle the 3D effect, playing Robobot on a 3DS is _so_ much better. Played it on my 2DS originally, found a 3DS a few months later, played it again. Absolutely worth it.
