Well I did a bit of hunting and managed to get hold of this policy trailer, it's the one I most remember watching (because it was at the best cinema near me)

I vividly had memories of this a young kid. My sensory issues hated this and it used to be so LOUD to me that I’d have to cover my ears as hard as i could until it was over. Can’t believe i found it. Now it’s comforting to me and i can’t stop watching it lol 😂

That was nice. It's like you're in another world for a while when you watch movie theater intros like these.

I remember, in late 90's, here in Argentina there was a Showcase cinema (which it's still operating), in a "mall" (It wasn't actually a mall, it was an "Entertainment Centrer", which has been converted in 2007 into a actual mall) which I used to go, with this "neons" and "colors" theme. It was awesome! This advert is part of my chilhood. I really loved (and still do) going to the movies!

I mean the one that they currently use now. But that kaleidoscope one sounds cool too, and I'd like to see it. I'm sure if I saw it, I would remember it. I'd also like to find the opening scene showing the N on the movie screen and showing where the emergency exits are, and mentioning that they're easier access to the parking lot.

Ah no I loved this, but that's nostalgia for you as this was the one from my teens, till they opened a Cineworld closer to home. As far as competition I don't think most places can handle much competition as far as cinemas go, TV and Video has taken care of that.

It may have been the time when a unsupervised child pulled the alarm on the wall and everyone went nuts there. It takes 15-20 for everthing to reset including the projectors which is required by law to shut down when such an events occurs.

It's called "neon" and we used it from around 1990 up to about a year or two ago. It is made by Pike Productions out of Newport, RI. From 2002-2004 we varied from policy trailers including the "Survivor", Two and a Half Men" and "Kevin James" policies.

I remember this from visiting the Multiplex Cinemas at the Reston Town Center while on vacation to visit my grandparents. Seeing this always makes me wish "The Price is Right" could have opened their with this, replacing certain text with what's being said, like instead of the rules, have the first 4 contestants' names and "COME ON DOWN!", and interspersing footage of the audience- and Rich Fields, too.
