Featuring working Excavators at Campbell,s Quarry, a Gauge 1 Diesel locomotive with real working engine inside and much more .

The steam shovel and dragline bucket was of the charts, i would play with that all day and night.

You are very lucky to have more vendors and layouts at your shows. We are sadly lacking in this type of support in our area of Western Canada. It seems that no matter what, the Vendors just do not want to venture North, possibly due to customs problems ! Good video and many thanks.

+deltatrains i am sorry to hear that Peter, when i went to this show for the 1st time a few years ago i was completly taken back by the size of it , been going ever since, many thanks for the comments, we are hoping to visit Canada one day, would love to see the Rockies and my wife is mad on Bears ! regards Graham

The dragline is very reminiscent of the Pilkingtons sand quarry works near St Helens, I visited frequently in the 1970's.

Amazing. No shows like it in size or attendance in the US, that I know of.

love the video. anymore you can tell us about the g1 diesel engine?how was it powered ? i was actually at the show and missed all this.

Is that drag line a kit or is it scratchbuilt?

Not sure the owner was so busy at the show i did not get a chance to ask , i should think its scratch built as i have never seen a kit
