Hitler spent over 800 days at the Wolf's Lair, his main headquarters. This bunker had a concrete roof over seven meters thick and a protective layer of gravel, making it nearly resistant to bombs and chemicals and lacked windows, requiring a complex ventilation system for oxygen. To conceal it, tons of soil and plants covered the roof, blending it into the forest.
