The World Cup has always some surprises for us. Most of the time the group winners and runners up can be predicted before the tournament even starts. But sometimes something crazy happens and unexpected teams win the group. It's always exciting to see underdog teams beating the favorite teams. Costa Rica in 2014 were the greatest World cup underdog story in the competition's history. Although Morocco is my personal favourite because they finally propelled Africa into the elite of the World cup and got them to 4th place. Let's hope that Africa actually win the tournament some day

The ruling that the ball was still in bounds at 3:30 has a lot in common with the Tuck Rule call in American football. That was the one that bailed out Tom Brady in the 2001-02 NFL playoffs, back when he was still an underdog story. (which seems absurd, in retrospect. But at one time, that’s how NFL fans perceived him.)
