I really love this poignant and sensitive melody. Thank you. I have always admired the Lakota People for their soul and spirit. I know that they suffered much as the White People moved westward. It is a very sad tale and some of that seems to come through in this melody. Kind of a remembrance of times past. I pray for the Lakota People often. They will heal and rise from the ashes of history stronger and more vital in culture and language. I learned a lot about this on line and from working with the first Nations Film Festival in Chicago for a few years with Dave Spencer - Dine´. Mitakuye Oyasin and thank you.
