This is what I've found while meditating on the Bible and my life. God said he didn't give us a spirit of fear. I literally see all feelings as spirits. Depression is just an evil spirit that pushes away Joy, happiness, confidence and fulfillment. I no longer welcome depression. It no longer holds power over me. I see it and let it move past me now. Not in or through me. I no longer have the spirit of anxiety either. No more attacks! Amen for healing 🙏🏾

This is so amazing, thank you for the reminder. I think this modern way of life also contributes to depression, I wish I could live more connected to nature in good community.
@user-zz4uc7lu4m

You can choose to be connected to Nature-- find a tree in your neighborhood park. It can be in a box on the street, it doesn't have to be in the forest. Visit your tree as often as you can. If it is within walking distance, all the better. Take a little walk, pause at your tree. Speak to the tree (in your mind, the tree hears you) Ask the tree to help you be grounded as it is, roots deep in the Earth, branches reaching to the sky. Take time to listen to the tree, You may not hear words (at first) but feel the connection you have to trees, plants, Mother Earth. This feeling of connection and a true tangible connection comes with your intention. Set the intention to be connected, aware, open to the gifts and guidance of Nature. It is there for you. Open to it with your Intention. All the same goes for community. Set the intention to find the people who nurture you, the comunity doing heart centered work. Maybe there is volunteer work that calls to you; those people may be folks you can build community with. Don't look for them in the bars. Choose positive activities, outside, in a gym, in a food pantry, where might "your" people be? go find them, Best wishes. Know there is unconditional love streaming to you. Open to receive it. You are worthy.

Thank you for this great wisdom. I dreamt of my children’s grandmother last night, she died many years ago, she was native. She stood by my adult daughter who I am worried about. I asked her to talk to her because she won’t talk to me. I felt her point at psychology and ceremony. I woke up and turned on my phone, this video was suggested at the top of the feed. Maybe spirit is affecting algorithms. ❤️☺️🎶

@@saludosalsol Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZfaq channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZfaqr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZfaq thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

@AryAyala, depression has many causes. The good place to start is to heal your gut & to eat quality food, remove toxins from your skin, home, water, as much as you can. Manage your interactons with toxic people. After all that, dealing with childhood & life trauma should help. Kick it naturally has some short useful videos how to go about it. Check on methylation & genetic changes too to figure out what your body needs as support. Watch videos by Dr Ramani & The Little Shaman to figure out toxic people & how to stay away & set boundaries. I wish you healing. Hugs.

Great teachings of a great man. A man's greatness is always gauged by the wisdom he keeps. Again, this is a great man of high virtue, and he is blessing us with the wisdom he keeps. May I thank you, wise one, for sharing this with us for our benefit, and may we share the goodness to others that require it. One other thing that I wish to add, for those dealing with depression, listen intently from 11:40 to about 16:45, that is wisdom. I thank those who have come before for keeping this knowledge and those that will come for the preservation of this knowledge. May we come together and recognize our brothers and sisters in each other. Blessings for all who have wisdom and share it and to those who receive it to be shared with others. Hope and Believe. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊.

And I also love the emptying the cup thing: One of the strongest qualities I’ve acquired through all this highly introspective and intuitive healing is to empty out the “eye for an eye” resentment belief. There is an abundance of healing when patterns are stopped and hurt meets you, and in your kind of words, you say “Hello. I see your hurt and I won’t be like you.” ❤

I walked the lands of Oregon many times, along the rivers and the trees and the energy, the life force of the ground seemed palpable, the manifestation of energy into form. I often felt like I sensed the presence of all the peoples who walked there before me. Oregon awoke my spirit into the world for the first time when I was just a child. I became conscious of all life and myself a part of it all. I can not even conceive of who I would be now without such a beautiful place.

I just recent year found ou that my paternal grandparents were Apache. That my maternal grand mother was purpeche. I understand why they never shared this. They were protecting their children and family. They held their families together. I am 62. It has lead to awakening. Thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you for your love and compassion. Edit: Your perspective on depression is so touching. I have been taught for so long that I should never feel badly, that if I do then it is because I am choosing to be in pain and to hurt others with that pain. That I was actually rejecting myself never occurred to me.

I am not even 10 minutes in and am so relieved to hear Vernon Foster talk about stopping "digging up" our ancestors and live the happy life they wished to live. This is logical music to my ears. I understand momentum is at play for all humans and our ancestral trauma, however I also know we have the tools to steer our lives in the direction we want. I appreciate you Vernon Foster.

I had a very interesting dream last night which was out of the blue about the natives. In my dream, I ended up in their village. They walked me through statues and practices and one man told me - why do you think the government oppresses us, breaks our traditions, hides our practices and most of our people turned out to be violent, drunk and in jail? He said this is the truth. This is why they broke us apart so we wouldn’t perform the truth and praise the real spirit(s) and the reality of this world. I’m getting the shivers. I’m not native at all, I’m Turkish. It was the craziest dream. I’d love to hear about peoples opinions.

Thank you so much, Mr. Foster! These insights you shared have helped me to gain a new perspective in terms of lifelong depression (24 years). Not even therapy & conventional medicine have done that. These little storys and anecdotes are more helpful for some people who need metaphors and visual language instead of chemicals and an analytical approach. Native healing targets much more the right brain hemisphere, as I understand. The humane warmth and loving personal attention of the healer is a very underrated factor, too. Much love to all of the native people worldwide. ❤

Thank you Vernon.. for you beautiful insight in to your spiritual journey and trials that we/ some of us all can identify with.. your metaphor and understanding and spiritual description of depression wowed me . And evoked such understanding and clarity of the light needed from within us to walk from the darkness back into the light into ultimate self freedom.. from powerlessness into empowerment.. once again thank you .. spoken as such words as God would give us himself.. God bless you ☝️🌏☝️💚.. Aid from across the pond in the Uk 🙏🏻
