I once saw a bald headed eagle 🦅 in Florida right next to the Truck Stop where I parked my rig. The Eagle was actually walking on the grass next to a pond, I walked towards it and it flew away 🪶. I had a prosperous year that year…. It’s true what you say about Natives believing that if you see one to bless yourself and believe that you are going to receive blessings and good luck.👍🍀 It happened to me… 🙏

My Blessing is the hawk. As I traveled on the backroads of the US with my husband in his big 379 Pete I would get so excited when I saw a hawk flying along with us or soaring above us. I once saw a hawk catch a rabbit alongside the highway that was hiding in the grass at the edge of a fence. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Brings back memories of travels for fun and when delivering John Deere tractors out of Larado, TX to parts unknown (till we got there).

Wanta laugh? Check this out, when me and my boo we're in n.m. He said, weird how they kept calling shit silly. What does the mean, was funny. Told him, they calling you little brother. My son was out here too, and got pulled over, police asked him if he was a Whiteman. My son said, no dude I'm Navajo from n.m. police were looking for same blue explorer belonging to a native family named Whiteman. Ha ha, he was so confused in Ethete, Wyoming.

Thank you for explaining about blessing yourself when you see an eagle or a red tail hawk. It makes me think about last summer and all the birds that were everywhere around my house. I went to the store with a friend and when we got back we were both amazed by how many there were. They were on the roof, the door frame the stairs and the tree in front was loaded with them. I've never seen so many birds. Most looked to be sparrows. They stayed all summer and the park manager told me she saw a hawk circling my house. There's lots of rabbits and squirrels too. I figured they all must have felt safe. I always say hello when I see them outside. I don't know what sparrows mean and seeing that many, at the time I wished I'd had my phone so I could have taken pictures. Anyway thank you for explaining.
