hay....i give all respect to B&H......i ordered most of my studio equiptment from you all...and much content......thank you for being an honest business....and not forgetting your customers.......which is the foundation.....of ANY BUSINESS..........which most businesses forget.......after the sell..........i bought a Canon Vixia hfs21.........a M-Audio project mix i/o.......a Presonus Studio Live 16.4.2 digital mixer....and several others.......and thay did a superior job of service........the only business i would trust.......and yes ive tried others.......! ok peace B&H........!

Is there a way to record audio from a guitar or an electric bass into the DAW (using a separate interphase) to loop alongside the Maschine sounds?

+El Barto Yes, but you will need 2 things: 1) A separate audio misi interface like the Native Instruments KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 - USB 2.0 Digital Audio Interface (see link below for details) and a DAW host program like Pro Tools. You will be able to record your instruments into Pro Tools using the audio interface and the add Maschine studio plugins and virtual instruments on separate tracks, being able 2 edit using the hardware controller. So I can use the 2.2 software stand alone with no need for a DAW... I can track my guitar and vocal parts, mix and master down through the version 2.2? Also, Any tips for choosing an audio interface for Mashine? Thanks

It will work with Apple Logic Pro X or Ableton LIVE or as a standalone or with any other DAW that is compatible with AAX, VST, or AU plug-ins. Consider the Supported Interfaces: Stand-alone VST Audio Units AAX 32 and AAX 64 ASIO CoreAudio WASAPI Here is an excellent interface: The AudioBox 22VSL from PreSonus (B&H # PRAB22VSL) is a portable 2 input/2 output USB 2.0 audio and MIDI interface that allows for monitoring with low-latency effects. It features two combo microphone/instrument inputs with Class-A XMAX microphone preamps, and ships with Studio One Artist DAW software. The compression, limiting, semi-parametric EQ, high-pass filter, reverb, and delay effects are the same as found on the company's StudioLive 16.0.2 mixer. I just pulled my Studio 2.o out of the box after years of having it and never using it. i will need a 101 Class to learn it step by step. Going to learn Razor on PC First.
