I hit a gnarly rock on a recent trip which pushed the radiator support up and back, damaging my turbo tank and hose line… definitely in the market for a new skid plate. Just curious if you know whether an after market plate will void warranty? Surely not, right?

Sorry to hear that, dude! It's a simple bolt on mod that uses all factory holes. If I had to bet it I would say that your warranty should remain in tact.

Very nice video. Let know if you hear any noise (like metal folding) when you do a hard brake or sharp steering turn.

Good luck with the new plates. Were you able to install the front/engine skid plate without removing the Steel under guard (the H looking piece)? It looks like all skid plate brands (except the OEM) require this piece to be removed. I removed mine to install Primitive front plate but feel like I’m losing some protection on my engine.

I don't believe I removed an H-looking piece. The only thing I took off was the front plastic bash guard with the thin piece of metal on it.

Thanks for you comments! Pretty much nothing was changed in the 2023 as far as I know. I went to the dealer and looked at one and I noticed nothing that was changed.

Thanks for the detailed install video. How come you made the following choices for your suspension? Why not the same for the front and back? Or vise versa? Thanks Iron Man 4x4 Front - medium load Rear - spec c

I carry a heavier load in the rear of the vehicle like most people do when they go overlanding or camping. To offset that, you need to have a stiffer spring in the rear to eliminate suspension sag. Hope that helps!

We can see what it looks like from the floor view of your garage, but can you show the front end so we can see the appearance as we approach the car, 30ft view walk in to a close view to see how much plate shows from the front, more views other than the under side, if that makes sense.
