I'm extremely curious about what Natlan's "Main City" will be like. Every Nation has a capital that works as the Main Hub where we redeem daily commissions and weekly missions, but Natlan is apparently divided into multiple individual tribes that live separately from each other, so either we will have one of the Tribes as the largest and most influential or each tribe will have its own city

After watching the Natlan preview, you were definitely right about us as travelers using the dragons for travel🤣

man i love these videos! they're so good at giving me rough ideas of what to expect going into a new nation without ACTUALLY ruining the hype for me.

it does make sense if were gonna get a mount or a flying mount, if theyre putting a new exploration mechanic for natlan and fontaine gave us the underwater exploration, then sky exploration is an option

I think that the recent Cyno quest with the Ba Fragments of Hermanubis will play a role in Natlan. You know how Hoyoverse loves to drop quests like that before a new nation gets unveiled as little breadcrumb trails for us to follow. What if, a long time ago, the essence of the Pyro Sovereign was split into six fragments (phoenix fragments?) and each tribe leader/great warrior was given a fragment, so that all tribes felt equal in power. Everything was fine until the pyro archon emerged from one of the tribes. The other five tribes immediately felt like there was a power imbalance, and that one tribe was now more powerful than the others. So began the in-fighting. Tribes fighting with each other to gain the Phoenix fragments and increase their own power. The bringing together of fragments meant that the Pyro Sovereign was close to returning. This drew the attention of Ursa the Drake, who saw the Pyro Sovereign as a threat, and who began to hunt down the tribes to eliminate the Phoenix Fragments (why Vanessa’s tribe was so hunted by Ursa the Drake). I also think that Bennett was born from one of these Phoenix Fragments, which is why he was found as a little baby all alone in the Mare Jivari. Someone had the foresight to hide the last fragment in a living host to keep the Pyro Sovereign from returning until the time was right, and to keep one tribe from having all the power by having all the fragments.

I really feel that if we DO get mounts, they won’t be how people are assuming. They’re assuming it’s going to be something we equip and can customize. Their going to be static parts if the environment that take us on a preset kind of path. We won’t just be able to pull out a mount like we do our glider. If we CAN do that, it will only work in Natlan like Fontaines water.

Personally I hope they go full "How to Train your Dragon" with it, where we get all sorts of dragon mounts, perhaps one for each element. They could each have different playstyles like the xenochromatic creatures in Fontaine. Maybe even individual level-up tracks as you bond with them over time.

Now that the Natlan teaser is out well it’s colorful. And the Pokémon dragon things could be each from a different Tribe.

I thought it would be cool if Natlan not only adds a mount system. But possibly incorporate Natlan characters companions into their kits and gameplay. Maybe the pyro archon could summon a dragon and Iansan can summon a little wolf to attack enemies that your active character isn’t attacking.

i know im a few days late to commenting but i have some food for thought concerning potential natlan content. its always struck me as odd that the pyro archon could be a saurian, considering how the sovereigns had their authority taken and said authority is housed in the gnosis, so why would celestia allow one to theoretically be given back that authority. its possible saurians are just so far detached from traditional dragons that this doesnt matter but its also possible that the pyro archon isnt a saurian. id like to think that the saurians fill an adjacent niche to that of the melusines, not human, decidedly important to the local culture but not the nations resident supernatural race like the oceanids. in unfinished reverie "dark fruit of bright flowers", one of the youths is compared to a quetzal. its likely im just overthinking this and it could literally just be the artifact comparing her to a quetzal bird, a real beautiful species of bird in Mexico. though for the sake of "food for thought" considering Mesoamerica serves as one of natlan's influences, i dont find it so farfetched that hoyoverse would make the nation's supernatural race based off of quetzalcoatl. its not an unheard of trope in fiction and it feels fitting. assuming the quetzals are the regions supernatural race, is possible they resemble their animal counterparts more, being a healthy mix of serpentine and avian, thus making the pyroarchon a more phoenix-like quetzal. if this is the case id love to see elements/characteristics of other serpentine gods be used like the the orisha Oshumare, a deity that from my understanding is stunningly beautiful, bears the bottom half of a snake and is essentially the personification of rainbows. Assuming this is all wrong, im still excited to think questzal birds might be a common animal in natlan. i also wanted to bring forth narrative comparison captiano might fill. id like to think capitano and his fatui operatives will be filling a similar role to that of the conquistadors throughout the quest. more so in loose parallels, given natlan's partial aztec inspiration and the commedia capitano being a Spaniard. that and the war campaigns. I dont mean to say capitano will conqour natlan, i feel once he gets the gnosis he'll bounce, likely being fought by the traveller on his way out. Ah also one last thing, i finally got on the game today after a while and theres a new event quest. Realisitcally most lore youtubers will probbaly touch on it in the coming days but it pretty much confirms natlan people have a taboo against leaving. Sorry for going on for so long, this was a great video!

Wild guess. Maybe we'll get a new way to move in Natlan with each new area with each new patch update that opens and comes as a tribals. Maybe the first ones we get are the Geo and Dendro type dragons that we "ride" on. I think of it as geo = along the ground Dendro = along the mountains Hydro = along the water Pyro = along the lava (in a volcano for example), Anemo = along the air (longer distances) Hydro there could also be the first tribals we get that would be at the national level. Towards the mountains, geo and Dendro would be used. I like to guess so much

6 tribes for seven elements, hydro electro cryo dendro geo and anemo and as for pyro is the pyro archon herself???? 😅

Now imma have to read the unfinished reverie artifact set and go search for those NPCs to hear what they have to say. Natlan has intrigued me for soooo long cause no Natlan NPCs exist in the game.

Or maybe they’re not finished yet with Natlan Patch plus they probably don’t have an idea in all newer certain characters will be like or they might have not started that part of the Genshin Story. Or we could have a Danslief StoryQuest Insert or an another Expansion Patch this time for Monstadt. Eventually one of those patches might lead to that Nation of Natlan. That explains the NPC of Natlan not appearing in any of these current nations except visitors that visit Natlan. Such as that guy we ran into back in Monstadt we exchanged stuff for Primo Gems for.

I hope at the climax of the plot we get a 4 way battle between the pyro archon (current one we dunno what will happen with it) vs dragon sovereign vs capitano vs the traveller (possibly buffed to fight to their level?)

I am so excited for Natlan! Seeing a blend of Indigenous American and African cultures is awesome. It does suck we have so little but just enough to get me hyped! I hope the Pyro Archon is an Aztec warrior queen who’s feared but respected as the strongest warrior in Tevyat. Possibly stronger than Ei and Zhongli.

Very excited to see the sneak peak we might get in the livestream! I have a question regarding Venti since you showcased him in some of the scenes, we don't know for sure if Dvalin is the anemo sovereign but if he is, when venti puts that energy sphere inside him at the end of the archon quest, could that be the power of sovereign getting back to dvalin? And if so, how tf did venti managed to give the power of authority back to him without sacrificing himself like Focalors? I also think venti will be super important to the Natlan archon quest somehow, maybe he'll be connected to the Mare Jivari again

Hello my friend, maybe the mountain region could be Machu Picchu. I also heard from a channel here, Discordia Tangente, leaks about Natlan that there is one tribe call Nazcayan, obviouly inspired by Nazca culture, but let's see later because leaks are not very accurate.
