France, United Kingdom, Germany, and United States artillery units fire various artillery systems during Exercise Dynamic Front 18 at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany in March 2018. Dynamic Front is an annual exercise focused on the interoperability of U.S. Army, joint service and allied nation artillery units in a multinational environment for field artillery gun crews.

Towed artillery is extremely outdated, though. Modern sensors locate enemy artillery positions within seconds after the shot. If you rely on towed artillery and the enemy also has artillery in range... good night. You'll receive counter fire and can't change the position fast enough and die. While self-propelled weapon systems can change position after each shot, which makes them almost completely invulnerable against counter fire. Also it's just... too manual. The PzH2000 has a fire computer that manages to fire 3 rounds in a row at different angles and with different charges so that all 3 hit the same target at the same time.

You’re right, it’s not like the UK has ever seen action! I’m a commando gunner and use the same artillery piece. The guy was struggling to get the cruciful off. It’s a bitch to get off but our drills are to do them last thing as a safety rule. In reality if that camera wasn’t there it would of been taken off by the coverer (the guy handing out the ammo) This makes the crews far slicker! Still quicker than any other country out there.

xthiccBASSツ they are phasing in the HK416F so infantry gets them first wich mean that rear echelon troops like in this video get the new rifle at a later point maybe 1-2 years. And the gun is probably a Famas f1 because only the navy adopted the f2

@@produfrag delta Forces use it too, also is polish groom commandos and netherland special forces, Norway uses it as the primary infantry weapon. Why not use a weapon system from an allied country if its obviously performing very well.
