NATO leaders are gathering in Washington this week as the military alliance celebrates its 75th anniversary, confronts the prospect of the return of NATO skeptic Donald Trump to the White House, the Ukraine war, and a bigger global role. We talk to Charles Kupchan is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and professor of international affairs at Georgetown University. Heavy Israeli bombardment is shaking Gaza City. Thousands of fleeing Palestinians are searching for shelter, and medical facilities have been forced to shut down.

@@Alicornanon 2014 Euromaidan was a coup by US State Department to remove Ukraine President Yanukovich- a takeover by US/NATO of Ukraine. That's why Crimea seceded from what was Ukraine.

@@marscrumbs You seem to not want to admit the US overthrew Kiev’s government in the maidan revolution in 2014, we spent $5B under Obama and Vickie Nuland. The ethnic Russians in Donbass Ukraine realized Kiev had a US puppet government, so they seceded (legal under UN laws). So Kiev shelled them using US munitions for EIGHT YEARS killing over 14,000. So when Putin said “enough” and justifiably responded, that’s when the western media tried making him look like Adolf H and other baloney. Look it up, it’s a documented.
