You also have to mind estrogen because when you block androgens, estrogen shoots up and causes another imbalance. It's more how your body is processing or not processing hormones. It's all liver issues

Hi. I am a 61 year young woman. I was recently diagnosed with Androgenetic Alopecia. I'm on 2 drugs. Prescription strength Minoxidil and Spironolactone. They are both water pills. After 8 months of use I have significant results. I am 11yrs loc'd and I have 3 new baby locs along my hairline. That's a big deal! For me the benefits outweigh the risk. I'm willing to take the risk. Reason being I was on water pills for Hypertension anyway! I basically traded the water pills. Now my hair loss and Blood Pressure are being addressed with hair loss meds. I love that!!! I also use an LED helmet a few days a week. I only hope it's helping. Not much growth noticed in my crown area so far. No more thinning either. That is also to be appreciated. I do take supplements as well. I only use Grapeseed oil but I will add the options you shared. Ideally the Emu Oil. I hope this helps someone. More Hair & Thank you. 😉
